This place is awesome! Fresh food great taste ! The lobster tacos are perfect! Generous portion size you will not be disappointed! The staff is great and incredibly friendly
My husband and I absolutely love this place! We have sampled many of their lovingly prepared items and enjoyed all of them . Just left there from lunch of huge, superbly prepared scallops over a tasty fresh mixture of salad greens, tomatoes, artichokes, marinated onions, cucumbers, Parmesan shavings. Carson ,our attentive friendly server, went straight to the owner for answers to our questions if he could not provide them himself. The owner, Alyssa, I think her name, was so accommodating to us. Look at their new wall sculpture downstairs when you go! Definitely one of the best seafood places in the Keys! Thank you!
Mahi Rachel. Two words. That's all you need. It was absolutely the best sandwich I have had in a really long time. I got mine blackened and it was divine. The Hubs had the brisket and it was also really good. The tiki hut roof makes the outside feel like you're in paradise. Definitely go. Like Now!

Once again I start another review in Marathon, Florida by saying…. We’ve been vacationing here for over 25 years, we’ve seen and heard of Brutus Seafood & Restaurant but never stopped in partly because it never was appealing to us if I’m being honest. This year we arrived for two weeks of Vacay, Diving and Dining and searching for bar bands, it was unfortunate we lost Jimmy Buffet a few days ago as we were driving down. I saw a Jimmy Buffet tribute being done by a local artist named John Bartus so we decided to go have dinner, drinks and catch the gig….. all I can say is WOW!, wow, food, wow drinks, wow John Bartus!
We started with the Buffalo Shrimp…AMAZING, ordered the Key Lime Margarita and the Ghost Pepper Margarita…. AMAZING! We ordered the Lobster PO BOY and The Brutus fried….Double AMAZING flavorful, fresh and delicious. We had the Black Bean Salad…. AMAZING and the Potato Salad very tasty and full of spice flavors.
We closed the night with two slices of Key Lime Pie not their own homemade but from Sweet Savanna’s who’s was fantastic and full of flavor and tartness.
We will definitely be making Brutus Seafood one of our future visit go to eatery. Well done Brutus Seafood!
Can’t say thank you enough to Brutus Seafood. They came thru with the best hook and cook on Thanksgiving eve while we dropped off all of our fresh catch to store & ship back to us several days later. Everything arrived just as expected. Thanks again. Can’t wait to visit again.
This was such an awesome experience. The food is amazing here. My burger was so juicy and the kids fried shrimp was on point.
Our go to seafood in marathon. We mostly do takeout as some in our group are unable to get out due to physical limitations. The order is always perfect. Their calamari salad is my favorite. Dude at the register is super nice and made sure our order was correct. We have been there at least 10 times. Last week had live entertainment when I picked up the order. Singer sounded pretty good!
Tayla, the bartender, was wonderful and so was our food. She was waiting on tables all by herself along with the bar and we never waited for anything. My husband had the peel and eat shrimp that were delicious. I had the Brutus salad with ahi tuna, delicious! The portions are large. It is so hard to find a place where you get great service and great food.

Amazing and they vacuum sealed the fish I bought from their market for me. They even froze them for my 10 hour drive back home. They had Triple Tail. I bought 10lbs of their fish that day...love this place. Highly recommended.

Had the Lobster Po Boy grilled. Plenty of Lobster in every bite. Nice flavor, perfectly toasted bun. Usually I feel a little ripped off when I order this from other places, like i didn’t get enough bang for my buck. Not this time. Well worth the 27.99. I left full and satisfied. I’ll be back for another Lobster Po before I leave for home.
