Porter Jacks Grill

Did not disappoint the service was fantastic Kaley did a great job at telling us her favorites and helping us decide. We had the pork loin sandwich which was tender and delicious, also had the seafood platter which was fish shrimp and oysters all were good shrimp was my favorite. Also had an appetizer of sweet potatoes hash browns which were very good and fried zucchini. Highly recommend we will definitely be going back.

Stopped in on our road trip today. Was pleasantly surprised. The decor was interesting and inviting. Staff were friendly and attentive. My husband had the prime rib sandwich which was tender and tasty. I had the turkey blt made into a wrap. Generous helping of meat and very fresh. We’ll definitely visit again.

Meals were pretty pricey compared to other places. The items we picked were good but probably won't try again. Wait staff very nice and accommodating, dining area clean but kinda of dark and dingy, needs different lighting. Sells beer and wine only. Decent enough food but pricing is too high for the menu.

Had to wait 50 minutes to get a seat when we were told it would be 25. Sat down to find out that they were out of 5 or 6 different menu items. Waitress took our drink order right away but it took a while to get our drinks. Once we ordered the food came out quickly and was good. Overall a decent experience but I won't go again when it's that busy.

I was just left speechless (and those who know me, know how rare that is.) I'm in a little town called Manning, SC & looked for a local fish place being in Low Country, SC. I found Porter Jack's after a little searching. It's literally out in the middle of nowhere! After enjoying some fresh, local fried grouper & fried zucchini and a couple of Heinekens served by a awesome young server named Avi (I think), she informed me my bill had been taken care of the couple behind me! Unfortunately, (but not surprisingly), they had already left. What an awesome gesture! It made my night after an awful day of traveling I-95 on a holiday weekend Thank you to my good Samaritan! God bless them! Now to pay it forward! PS: The grouper tenders were cooked to perfection and so was the fried zucchini. The mac 'n cheese was also homemade. Avi, thanks for the gracious service! To Porter Jack's owner/management, you have a great little place! You should be proud!

Hey Everyone. I've been driving past monthly since we moved into the area the smell of the food from the grill exhaust was intoxicating! I was so looking forward to it! Alas, if I am honest the food was not up to expectation. The grill had a banner promoting outdoor dining on it's roadside. We arrived on Saturday with our appetite ready. The patio has a nice general feel however the tables and hardscape could use maintenance, being borderline rundown.. Additionally to our dismay the outdoor area has no music, poor marks there. Moving on to the staff. During the whole venture the staff was super friendly, and apologetic about the delay on foods due to a very full restaurant inside, which is fine. Overall the staff received the highest marks. My meal was a country fried steak and mashed potatoes with brown gravy. Cucumber salad as my second side. The cucumber salad disappoints, delicious cucumbers and tomatoes drowned in Italian dressing. The country fried steak seemed to have no breading or crunch. The brown gravy was good however as was the seasoning, just not the country fried steak I was sold on. The mashed potatoes were great, slightly small portion but that's okay. Low marks overall. Do I believe I got my money's worth? Sadly, no. Overall I don't think I'll be back.
