Are you kidding me! Its been so long since I was out and wanted to lick my plate. The photo Im posting may not be the most flattering but the empty plate says it all. Best comfort food for miles. Orders come out faster than drive-thru. Kindness and service like something from a black and white film about filling stations had that "customer's always right" nostalgia. We had a simple Ruben and the Sherwood Forrest sandwiches, fries, onion rings, and Cherry Pepsi-Cola. The bill was a nominal $30. Very pleasant atmosphere too boot.

This seemed like a nice local spot to grab lunch as we headed back home to Illinois. The french onion soup in the crock was amazing! It was nice to try a local beer as well, there was a good selection of beers available.

Their French onion soup is amazing with a half sandwich it was a perfect brunch. My friend had the lunch special and the portion was very nice. It is very dark inside..trying to be kinda medieval..not my style but the food is good.

My favorite place to eat when I come to town! The food is absolutely delicious and the servers are great. All the staff at Friar Tucks are friendly and amazing.

The Cajun chicken sandwich is insanely good. Met some very awesome locals, and the staff was exceptional. I would recommend this place 12/10!!!!

If you haven't been to Friar Tuck's in awhile, you haven't missed a thing. Not much seems to have changed; good food, friendly staff and an authentic decor that you won't find anywhere else.
