Before walking down to the Manhattan Beach Pier, we walked into Simmzy’s for burgers and beers. They offer elevated burgers that include a grilled salmon sandwich on marble rye bread, spicy turkey Thai burger made with ginger and lemongrass on a brioche bun and an Angus beef blue cheese burger with candied bacon.
There are 6 small plates and 7 different salads, but the burgers and draft beers are the stars here.
There is a kids menu and apple filled donuts for dessert.
They has wide variety of beers. Place was packed when we went for a late lunch, got a table within five minutes or so. Very friendly and efficient staff, menu consisting of burgers, sandwiches, salads and the likes. Tried a chicken sandwich, a burger and a fish taco with sweet potato and shoestring fries, all were perfectly cooked and prepared. Had a couple of glasses of old world wine which were reasonably priced and of good quality. The place offers good value for money (even a nice kids menu), would definitely recommend it.
It's agreat place to hamburgers and beer :) It is very close (20mins) to LAX. Nicenoptoin to spend time between fligts. It is my after CES destination before 13 hour Istanbul flight.
Met up for lunch meeting at simmzy's. It's in the fun part of Manhattan Beach with shops and great views of the Pacific! The food was good. I ordered the shrimp and rockfish ceviche w. avocado and fries. The fries were a little thinner and crispier than i prefer, but still tasty. Get there early to get your name in.

Best burger in Manhattan Beach. The food here is delicious! the menu selections are gourmet twists on traditional American food. I have nothing but good things to say about the Simmzy's burger! The bun was fresh, the meat was juicy and the flavor was tasty. I also had a bite of my husband's west coast steak 'n cheese which was great. I will have to get that next time. For beer drinkers, this seems like the place to be because they have a variety of selections. If you're not a fan of beer, I would recommend the sangria. The only down side is that the place is super small. But if you are solo or just a party of two, you seem likely to get a table or seat at the bar quicker.
Excellent. Packed even late on a Sunday night. Food was first rate, good beer selection much of it local. And the people watching is also top notch
Great Location. Stopped by Simmzy's for a beer, but it was really crowded...they don't have a lot of tables, so it fills up fast. I love the location on the way down to the beach. Sat at a table practically right next to another couple...it was like being on a double date! We laughed about the 2 inches between our tables. Had a couple of beers and burgers, but the fries were ala carte which was a little surprising. Food was good, but table seating was a bit awkward being right next to other people.
Beers and Burgers. If you like either, or both together, this is your place. Best rotating craft beer selection west of Colorado, the award winning burger is phenomenal, the pulled pork sandwich is a close second, the location is second to none. Do yourself a favor, stop in, check it out, have a beer, and stay for food if you can.
ate at the Simmzy's Restaurant Manhattan Beach given our current pandemic and I was served by keely, she was delightful and made my visit pleasant. I sat outside on the patio and I happened to stumble upon this gem. The food was amazing and the vibe was amazing! Definitely coming back to see keely! 4 stars for sure
Hands down THE BEST burger I have ever had!!! I've had plenty of burgers at different restaurants and this by far is waayyy better than any burger I've tried!!!!
Great new outdoor deck seating with a wonderful view. We came here after the beach for dinner and drinks. There was 45 minute wait, after being seated I ordered the sunburst sangria and the California chicken sandwich. Unfortunately the sandwich was good but very rubbery for grilled chicken. The Sangria was great and our server was nice and checked on us often. We were getting chilly during our meal and asked to turn on the fire lamps upon request. May come back again and try something else next time.
Order the steak taco, which was delicious. Really liked the corn tortilla that was used, tasted fresh like handmade tortilla. Excellent beer menu to choose frome and nice outdoor seating .
Great place, great staff, great food, great drinks.. what else you can ask for in this DNA age.. come and enjoy the great hospitality.
My friend and I were desperate for a place to eat last minute. Luckily, we stumbled at Simmzy’s and within 30 minutes we had a table ready. The food was delicious and satiated our hunger. My friend ordered the wings and fries, which he loved, and I ordered the beyond burger with fries. I really enjoyed my order and highly recommend it—the spice to the burger really gave it that “umph” that separates it from other veggie burgers. I will say the Coke I ordered tasted funny and warm (even with ice). The male waiter baldish white guy was pretty helpful and nice (working 9/6 11PM). The one with the rat tail hair not so much. It was our turn to check in and he had the tablet but would avoid eye contact with us and had the “as long as you don’t make eye contact they won’t notice you” attitude. Some other workers looked annoyed and stressed which killed the vibe. Besides that, my friend and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
This has always been a great place for beer and food. Chicken sandwich is awesome. They have also dealt well with Covid. Sad to see the Venice location closing. 😩
Despite being busy and there being a wait, our group had a good time here. It was a Friday evening and we came over directly from the office. Simmzy's is located near the pier, just a couple blocks away from the water. I highly recommend grabbing a bite before or after sunset. Make sure you go to the end of the pier and watch the sunset. You'll love it.
We had a complicated group, but the server was friendly and service was fast. We shared a couple of starters, the Pepper Poppers Bacon and Fries. I had the Dirty South Fish Sandwich, which was absolutely amazing. Served very hot. I also enjoyed the fries, as they were very crispy and hot.
They don't have the biggest space, but they do have indoor and patio seating. If there's a wait, you'll likely be waiting on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. Like I said, they don't have a whole lot of space. Most the of parking in the area are meters, credit cards or quarters.
