We arrived at Nick's Tuesday around 11 AM , after being greeted by the host, we sat in the patio. Heather our server immediately came over to get us started with our drink order. Myself and partner ordered Bloody Mary's And our friend ordered a mimosa. We started off with a grilled artichoke w/ garlic butter and spiced mayo for dipping. Delicious !!! Next we had a bistro salad a unique blend of chopped lettuce greens eggs and onion, very good . For our entrees we shared the Bistro plate, a 4 oz petite filet topped w/ steak butter on top of garlic toast and a cup of the soup of the day which was cream of roasted corn, so good. Our friend had the prime rib dip, thin sliced prime rib on a brioche bun w/ mayo served w/ red wine au jus and a side of caramelized broccoli. Everything was delicious !!!! For dessert we shared pumpkin bread pudding topped w/ fruit medley and nuts served w/ vanilla ice cream, so much for my diet, but well worth the splurge !!! Our server Heather was an absolute joy, she even put up with my little sparring antics, she was on top of our drinks removing dishes and replenishing silverware as needed. The rest of the crew were also very attentive to our needs. I absolutely loved this place, my first time here and when I come back to Manhattan Beach this will definitely be a must go to spot. Thank you to the crew of Nick's for making this a memorable visit !!!
Came here for my birthday brunch and it was excellent! Everything I’ve ever eaten here has been consistently exceptional. I had the breakfast burrito which is the perfect balance of everything and the same for the mimosa. Expensive but hands down worth it! My husband got the California omelet and he said it was excellent too but it was the hash browns that he said were the best he’s ever had. Even though it was before 11AM they still brought me their butter crumb cake with a candle in it 😊 it was to die for 🙌 We will be back for sure!
Great Service. Delicious food. Great drinks. For either a casual lunch or fancy dinner.
Had a great experience here. The server had a good sense of humor with how fast the dessert went.. they were definitely very organized and it was a pleasant atmosphere. The Tri tip sandwich was great and the butter cake is a must-try.
This place obviously knows how to serve their clients. Consistently with a very nice demeanor. The food is fairly priced, constantly fresh and clean.
I honestly like their food and service, great location right next to where I live. The employees are always welcoming. Highly recommended.
The steak and baked potato was delectable. The service was exceptional. Sandy was super friendly and offered suggestions as needed. The rest of the staff was also friendly and they made dinner feel as comfy as possible outside!
I was brought here by a new friend, and the salmon salad I had there was awesome! One of the 3 top best I've had anywhere! Worth the travel (40 miles), the weekend traffic (stay away if you're weak), and the crowds on a sunny day!
This spot is worth a try. They serve big portions for convenient prices. Regularly well organized and with excellent mood. Would recommend to others.
Went here for lunch with my husband and every thing was great! I enjoyed the slaw on the chicken sandwich. It was mustard based and I appreciated that. The drinks were delicious as well.
