Country Kitchen

First time here! I loved it! I will go back! Very busy due to impacts of hurricane Ida. Clean, bright, family atmosphere. Local, quaint, country, friendly lol. Food took some time to be prepared, but it was unusually busy. Wait staff was great! Kind courteous friendly. Fried catfish and shrimp plate was delicious. Fresh and clean tasting oil and flour. Tartar sauce was to die for and made in house. Provided me with lemons which were also fresh and tasty.. Potato salad was awesome (it was cold opposed to room temperature). French fries were good. Fresh ingredients. Fresh tasting. Simply delicious. Pay for ticket at register up front at your leisure. Single toilet restroom. One for men one for women. Bathroom was clean and stocked. Had a wonderful meal and wonderful time spent with family. Our waitress Amanda was a doll 💖

Food is delicious. Menu is small and affordable. I don't come here often due to my work schedule, but when I do it seems like we always get the same server, who is great. They have the BEST generic coffee in town. I have no idea why I enjoy the "plane jane" coffee this place sells, but I do. The place is adorable and has an Old Cafe vibe.
