I just want to add an update to my previous review. I came here the last two weeks in a row to grab a few of the smaller pies for gatherings. As always, you show up crossing your fingers someone else has not cleaned out the cases! I mentioned while I was here to another patron how you will never find a better banana cream pie anywhere in the whole United States period! I told him that my daughter in Los Angeles insists we hand carry it on the plane when visiting. Now that says something... Yes, it's still the most luxurious banana cream pie you will ever taste. The crust is light and flaky and the pie itself is sweet, creamy and actually has bananas! I know we all believe it should but not every bakery actually puts banana slices in theirs. The chocolate cream pie is very decadent and rich. Almost like a pudding bottom and mousse consistency above it for a dual layer of chocolate. He makes smaller "individual" pies as well as regular big pies. I tried both smaller ones which each one are totally big enough for two hungry people with a sweet tooth. I shared with neighbors who also gave 5 stars all the way. Will be back, warning get there early or call ahead to hold your pies

I love this place! The cream pies are made with real cream and the chocolate is top rate. The crust is flaky and flavorful. The apple pie is one of our favorites. It's not too sweet, the apples are tender and delicious. My family comes to Manasquan once a year and Sunburst Pie Co is a must for us. Last year they were closed during our visit. This year after our 3-hr drive we went directly to Sunburst and arrived 2 minutes after closing. The wonderful staff let me come in and I bought 2 delicious pies, apple crumb and chocolate coconut cream. We savored every bite. These are the best pies in a 200 mile radius!
