Corner Bagelry

I have been to this bagel shop five times this summer...... I have not encountered a visit without the old man being rude to one of his customers.... I have seen him tally up the wrong subtotal on two different occasions..... If it were not for my children wanting a bagel before they went to the beach I would have bypassed this place after the first encounter...... So to any entrepreneurs looking to open a bagel shop in this jurisdiction by all means you have a perfect opportunity! As I read the reviews I realize I am not the only one reporting the same issues! As for the owners of this establishment do not bother answering to my comments....... The proof is in the pudding..... There are just too many people reporting the same thing......

Just in town for a couple days and weve been here 3 times. Everything weve had was fresh and exceptional, including the warmth from the family that lovingly runs this place. If you want local, if you want comfort food, but dont want boring, treat yourself here. The Lox and schmear is better than it has any right to be. You also need a French toast bagel with maple butter.

I have frequented the Corner Bagelry for a number of years when visiting family. I went to pick up bagels Saturday morning and an older man (who seemed to be in charge) took my order and then rung up my order- after totaling the amount I questioned how it could have been that high but paid as they were already making my order. Then while waiting I added everything up (including tax) and it was way off (by $10). I then approached this gentleman and he just seemed annoyed (it was not very busy at the time) and i asked him to re-tally the order. It turned out that it was very wrong but only discovered after I insisted that it was wrong and he seemed annoyed the entire time. Upon discovering this, he did offer me cash. I was overall struck with how rude this person was and will not be visiting again.
