Genuine Southern Comfort Food. As my wife said, "This is Paula Deen down home." We like to explore local joints and O'Neal's Country Buffet lives up to its name. Meeting our son and his two fraternity brothers, this was a perfect spot to feed hungry guys. At $8.50 each and it includes your sweet tea or lemonade, it is really a great deal.
Be sure to get the fried chicken when they put it down warm and fresh. We all loved it. The boys raved about the mashed potatoes. Dessert included a selection of cobblers, puddings, and some fresh fruit.
While it is comfort food on display, you can sift your way through and eat healthy with salad, veggies, and baked chicken or beef aus jus.
Overall, really good southern comfort food buffet, a place the locals love, and just about 9 minutes off of Interstate 10. Oh, yes... the service is as you would expect - friendly.

The endless buffet features every southern fried favorite. Fried chicken and fish not over cooked or thick with too much breading. Every vegetable dish was fresh and properly seasoned. A favorite place in my home town. Try it!
This is the 2nd time we have been here on a Friday night and it is always jammed pack. The buffet is full of refreshed cooked seafood and is always quickly restocked. Servers are friendly and always check on you. The reason I didn't give it a five is that they only off tea, lemonade and water. No soda offerings. That's what would make it a 5 in my book
This was a great experience. The food was out of this world and the atmosphere was cozy. Our waiter was kind enough to give us a quiet corner near the wine room and it made all the difference being out of the way of crowds of people.

The food is really delicious. The people are very friendly. I come from Orlando and that is the only place I love to eat at in Madison.
The Fri. Night buffet is great. Biggest steamed shrimp. 2or 3 kinds of fish. Really good country veggies and Macaroni and cheese. Several different cobblers,ice cream and banana pudding. Always busy.

Today we’re running late and I called to see when they close. I explained that out GPS has us arriving at 2:37 PM, they close at 2:30. When I told the young man that we wouldn’t make it in time, his response was “no ma’am, y’all come on”!
