Dairy Queen (treat)

I ordered the Royal Ultimate Chocolate brownie, small. I can tell you exactly what goes in the blizzard. 2 scoops of choco chunks, 2 scoops of brownie pieces, and half a pump of cocoa fudge, blended, then put cold fudge as the core. What the gave me didn't have enough cocoa fudge (it was a very light chocolate color, like an off-white. If it was portioned correctly it would be been significantly darker). Furthermore they put Cocoa fudge as the core. When I brought it back and pointed out there was cocoa fudge in the core, they told me that the sign for the blizzard just says "fudge core" and that they didn't have cold fudge. This isn't how the blizzard is supposed to be made and if you pull up the official dairy queen recipe card for the blizzard it will say cold fudge core. These were the major issues. A minor notable issue is that they didn't cover up the core very well. The cocoa fudge sat on top of the blizzard like a sad chocolate puddle. The staff were moderately friendly though and even remade the blizzard for me with out the cocoa fudge core though it tasted terrible and wasnt properly portioned either. And to add insult to injury, they didn't flip my blizzard either.

They were busy which is normal for this location as we live in a small town but the lined moved quickly. An we didn't wait long at all considering there were 3 cars ahead of us. A younger group of kids were working but they were very friendly & professional. Ice cream was great an food tasted good as usual. My kids always love going to our local Dairy Queen.

Honestly, the food they serve here is not that appetizing. Not only is there no healthy options on the menu, but the food is dry with not much flavor. For the ice cream, the flavors are so interestingly disgusting. We have a fudge flavor, that has barely any fudge flavor. On top of all of that, the workers there look so unhappy. I never see a smile on anyone of their faces. Overall, I don't recommend coming here, even for a sweet treat. Your best bet would be to go to McDonald's across the street, and get an ice cream cone there.
