Buenavista Mexican Cantina

Absolute worst service I think I have ever received in my life, and it was the first time in 15 years I tipped below 20%. My girlfriends food came out completely uncooked and cold -- the cheese was literally unmelted and stuck together in chucks of shredded, mushy cheese, as if they had just taken a pack of shredded cheese out of the fridge and poured it right over her plate and stuffed the gross mess inside the cold enchilada. A five year old could have prepared that. I have worked in this industry when I was younger, and I can't believe how that plate was that even allowed to leave the kitchen? Then, when we said we did not want them to make another plate and to just take the half-prepared meal off of the check (since I was sharing my food with her instead), they proceeded to deliver us what she had asked for, actually cooked, as we were getting the check, and on top of that, they were very dismissive and annoyed that we wouldn't eat uncooked food. And to top it off, it was Valentines Day. Absolutely terrible service. The only reason I can fathom to give it one star is because the atmosphere was cool and my food - chicken and rice - was warm. Maybe just come here for drinks and cheese dip ...

This is now my favorite local Mexican restaurant! I ordered a chicken quesadilla (came with beans, onions, cheese, chicken, and fajitas inside and sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce served on the side). It was very well seasoned, but not greasy- although I would definitely consider it to be comfort food. My husband ordered one of the combos, but was disappointed that they wouldn't allow substitutions as he's not a big fan of beef. However, he said that the beef was still good and enjoyable. The tortillas and salsa were very good and enjoyable also. My husband and I ordered cheese dip and it was the best I've ever had in a restaurant! The prices are comparable with similar and local restaurants.

Mr Atilano! You are doing a fine job! I taught you well!!! Keep up the good work!!! But, I just hope you have stopped messing around with the female employees like you used to do at Buenavista. That's not good business plus you have a sweet and beautiful Wife. You should be more faithful like Mr Garcia.
