If it wasn't for the great customer service and the experience I had with friends, I'd give it a 3. The vegetable rainbow sushi roll was great, and the seaweed salad (although it probably was dyed with green food coloring). The house salad wasn't horrible, but a sign of a place with not environmentally-conscious sourced food. However, they're service and artistry with the food adds a note of appreciation to what they do.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Was a little concerned at curb appeal. Glad we all took the chance. Sushi was amazing sashimi excellent. Service was right on point. Communication was a little though but made it fun. Asked for chef to take photo with us and she was joyed too. Prices were great! Reds was booked as our usual choice. Would definitely go again and intend to!!!

It is decent sushi. It is over-priced. I usually spend 22 dollars for a California roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, and chicken fried rice. I could get the same thing for about half of that in LA. They are VERY frugal with their spicy mayo. I always stress that I want two small containers and I actually once heard the guy tell the women to only put a little. They ended giving two containers that could have easily just made fit into one container. If I am over paying for sushi, at least give me enough spicy mayo. It sucked because I was a regular there. I switched over to Sushi Express. I now pay 18 dollars for my meal. They charge for their spicy mayo but at least I get two full containers.

Terrible customer service. Paid the bill and the waitress had the audacity to come back 20 minutes later to tell us we were under charged for our drinks. We knew the price of said drinks and basic math said she was wrong. Argued with us and the other server. Finally came back and said initial bill was correct. Ended up double charging our credit card. If I could give lower than 1 star I would. Not the only people they've tried to steal from according to other reviews. DO NOT EAT HERE.

I got full off of my drink waiting for my rolls bc it was so darn hot outside! I cant wait to go again though. This is the Lady Gaga roll and a rainbow roll. I ordered the pink lady roll (no picture but highly recommend) also we got the crab roll (dee-lish) this place made me happy to be in Madison bc it has that downtown charm.
