Jardin

Overall really good food but plating and portion sizes could use improvement. Also service was on the slow side. The beet salad was really good but I found the plating strange- the beets were tucked to one side and 70% of the plate was empty. It also seemed a bit too small to split. The duck was really good too. However, it was only 4 really small pieces of duck which got lost in the rest of the dish. Other people ordered the herb crusted lamb and that dish seemed to have a much more generous helping. The brownie was my favorite part. I really enjoyed the pistachio ice cream.

My partner and I took her parents here for an outdoors reservation on the night that the Willie Nelson show got delayed due to a storm that also pushed all outdoors diners indoors. As a result, already-understaffed Jardin had a wild circumstance on their hands that they managed extremely well. The waitstaff was kind and attentive, and the food was delicious. The vegan options are great, as well.

Came to Jardin for restaurant week and was impressed with everything that I ordered from appetizers to entrees to dessert and cocktails! The environment is awesome the service is awesome the cocktails were awesome and food was phenomenal. Definitely 5 Star restaurant worthy! Thank you Jardin! I am looking very forward to coming back and dining with you again!

Sad to say, we were disappointed. We visited a couple of years ago and had a lovely experience. I will give them some slack as all restaurants are experiencing challenges during covid. The service was poor, not because the server wasn't pleasant. She was somewhat inattentive, and the food when finally delivered was lukewarm to cool.The salad was delivered with the main course and we were never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, which we did!The courtyard was lovely, but they should put a gate up so we don't have to see(or smell) where the garbage is dumped. Also saw a rat in alley, which is not surprising, but I just don't want to see it while dining. I will give credit to the manager as he did take 1/2 off the bill, as the food was mostly not eaten because of temperature. I would like to give them another chance down the road. Hopefully they can get it together!

Three of us dined at Jardin last night to celebrate a birthday. I had not heard of the restaurant (yet), so was delighted to peek at the website and menu. We loved it. The cocktails, small plates and entrees, and service, were definitely worth the visit and cost. The food was exceptionally creative and good use of seasonal food. We will be back for more.

Jardin, I wanted to love you. And I did love your food, some of the absolute best I've had. But unfortunately the service was some of the slowest I've ever had. Maybe the issue was coming during restaurant week? We arrived a bit early for a 5:45 reservation, should have been plenty of time to make our 8:00 plans later that evening. We ended up dashing out of the restaurant at 7:55 with our desserts in to go boxes. This is unacceptably slow. However, since the food was so wonderful, we will give it another try. But not during restaurant week. Update: Returned a while ago to give it another try. This time the food was delicious, and received in a reasonable amount of time. Hooray!

I wanted this place to be good, I really did. This space has had some turnover and the menu online looked great. We decided to try it for a birthday dinner. First, we were the only people in there (Thursday night at 6:30), but somehow it still seemed to take awhile for someone to come to our table. The food was generally disappointing, a jalapeno brie burger came with just a spicy cheese spread on it instead of what one may expect (juicy jalapenos and a slice of brie), and the menu didn't make that clear. I ordered a beet salad that was kind of soggy and underwhelming (though very large) and also the barley porridge with short ribs (definitely the best item we ordered among the 5 of us). Again, I really wanted this spot to be good, but we won't be back.
