Happy Wok

Ordered a pickup of sweet and sour chicken tonight. Called and let them know they forgot to give me the sweet and sour sauce. They kept telling me to check the bottom of the bag for packets of the sauce. I kept saying that the entire contents of the bag were emptied and I have nothing. NO sweet and sour sauce for my sweet and sour chicken. The woman kept arguing with me and would not give me a refund upon further telling her never mind and at this point that’s what I would like to do. No I don’t want her delivering sweet and sour sauce for my cold chicken by the time it would get to me. No I don’t want to go and pickup with all my kids and baby. I just want a refund and to NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!! HORRIBLE customer service!!!! Good luck if they screw up your order!

First time visiting Happy Wok when my husband and I make our occasional trips to Madison. We wanted to try something different then just going to the regular chain restaurants we usually go to. We had questions about the ordering process and food size options. The staff patiently answered our questions and helped us through the ordering process. Food was delicious and plentiful for a reasonable price. Still had left overs to pack up to take on our 6 hour drive back home.

I don't know what happened to Happy Wok. They took off some great dishes from the menu. The food is now mediocre. Everything is an extra charge, including sweet & sour sauce packages for 30¢ per little package, you know, the ones that were free. I will also tell you NOT to order extra meat or seafood because it doesn't make it into the container. These aren't the standard Chinese Almond Cookies. They are 2 inches in diameter and don't have much flavor. They stopped doing their own website and delivery. A sure sign that they will be going out of business soon. I'd rather buy Chinese food from a gas station!
