All the food tastes frozen and not actually homemade. It is a 50/50 chance of having good customer service (some employees obviously don’t want to be there while others are very kind) so I don’t want to say the service was all together bad. It just depends on when you go. Also when my family and I went there were crumbs all over the tables and they hadn’t been cleaned. I can see why there weren’t any customers in there except us.

I have tried the Panera on Milwaukee three times now. My experience was similar all three times: good food, limited selection, and medicore service. Service first: they make no effort to be friendly, aren't consistently at the register, and aren't helpful. My last visit I walked in to the counter looking at the bagel selection. The manager was on the far register and made no effort to greet me or ask if he could help. The time it takes to get an order varies. It has ranged from reasonable to very slow. They seem to do the minimum to run the store. To give credit the store is clean and neat, they do make an effort there. Second, the selection: I only go for breakfast so I don't know about the full menu. For breakfast it looks like they are nearly sold out no matter when I go. Half the bagel bins are empty and the pastry selection is maybe one-third of the selection in other stores. The coffee service has been inconsistent: the pots have been empty, lukewarm, and hot on my three visits. The food quality is good, comparable to any other Panera I have been to.

Have twice picked up to-go meals from this location and twice they have been terrible. Once I ordered half a salad and received about a quarter of what you get when ordering dine-in. The second time I ordered one of the roast turkey sandwiches and received two small slices of deli sliced turkey.

Good food. Service needs improvement. I waited at register for 5 minutes while the worker bees were watching from the back. The menu said creamy chicken and rice soup but they did not have. Dry, bland, tasteless food. They also didn't laugh at my Trump jokes. No Panera, YOU are fake news.

While the food was good, the service left something to be desired. Everytime I tried to go to the counter to get something, there was no one there. My order was wrong as well. It took over 25 minutes to get my correct order. I only have an hour for lunch.

Found a long hair in my son’s blueberry muffin this morning. I understand that sometimes things happen but every time I’ve been in this location it has been very unclean with trash and food on the floor, a staff member who wiped her noise with her hands and was coughing (not doing much to cover the cough) while cashing us out then got a cookie for someone out of the display. I really hope they clean this place up and train the staff better in all aspects.

I’m a big Panera fan but the one on Milwaukee and the one on 98th are terrible. They both need new management, they are constantly out of food, get orders wrong, and lazy. I walk in and place an order in the app or even in store you have to ask where the food is to get them to even begin preparing it. I was so happy when both locations opened but now I am so disappointed. They need to make a change quick or they will both be out of business quick!
