Torchys Tacos

This was our first time getting Mexican food here. It was really delicious. There's a few Mexican restaurants in town but this one was so good and the portions were huge I think we found our winner. Service was great! We were seated right away. We are always looking for authentic Mexican food vs. New Mexican food and sometimes it's hard to find but this place is great! The best parrillada I've ever had it had delicious flavor. The mini tacos were good too!

Our server was the bartender Tai. She decided to let me know my boyfriend was her exboyfriend and slandered his name right there at the bar with 5 other patrons near. I am mortified that she would act that way at her place of business. Please know I just spent $70. There for lunch and I will not be back do to your employee Tai Scott's behavior. I will be lodging a formal complaint with your corporate offices. Thank you Katrina Taylor

Honestly I used to really love this place a few years ago. We’ve been coming frequently the last 4 years. It was at one point our go-to meal spot. The last few years however, we’ve began noticing a very consistent decline in food quality. Tacos would come out missing ingredients almost every time, we’d order chips and salsa and it would take way too long, and then come out cold and short almost as if we were handed someone else’s leftovers. This was consistent over the course of a number of times. Same story with the queso it came out multiple times so cold it was thick and hard on top. We complained about it before and they just microwaved it for us, which if this were what I was paying for I’d rather do it at home. I’m writing this review after some friends of mine went again and said the same thing, that they think they use leftover and reheated food which is disgusting if true. Really disappointed. I hope this place gets their act because at one point it was a favorite. I was told that their other location here does a significantly better job so I may go try that soon. I would like to try this place again and update my review, but honestly it’s going to be a long while before I even consider coming back. My last couple experiences were absolutely awful. Also, I hate the fact that they make you tip them before getting your food, because the last couple times my food took forever and a few times I’m pretty sure they actually just forgot about me. I tipped 20-25% each time and left wishing I hadn’t.

The food is great as always and the drinks are great! I went there to comfort a bar tender name by John, I didn’t like the fact that my 14 year old son was serve alcohol, he doesn’t look 14 but he is and he’s in much trouble as it is. Also it’s not okay for a grown man to be hitting on my 14 year old and trying to get his social apps to send things that doesn’t need to be send. This bar tender is disgusting and is a giant no go. Either foods good but this is not. I’m not going to do anything but he should be fired.!!
