Hometown America at its best. Great service, fair price, and awesome food. Ask for a fried plain dognut instead of toast! Don't be in a rush though, the grill can only handle a few orders at a time. Watching them prepare your meal adds to the atmosphere!
Just Local folks kickin it back and havin a bunch of fun.. What more can I say is that Lloyd's has a bunch of happy go lucky patrons, that seem to park there butts up on a stool and don't move off unless the staff pokes them with a cattle prod. I and the wife and kid went to the diner for a early morning breakfast this past Saturday. The waitress staff were very accommodating and made us feel very much at home. I will say with the place being busy in all, it was a pleasent short stay. The eggs dishes that we ordered were done just as asked. We never saw the bottom of the coffee cup. We now know what the attraction is here. When I get old and feeble, (not that far off) I hope that I can earn a place on a stool and counter as the locals do. I assure you that if you need any kind of local information, stop by and just ask. You may get several different answers that every-one swears to. What more can I say is that it was like visiting Mayrberry without aunt Bea.
I'm a huge fan of local diners, and Lloyd's is one of the good ones. Friendly service, good food. I simply had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with crispy home fries, and it was a great way for me to start my day. Nice crispy bacon, just the way I like it.
Wow, this is some of the best diner food I've ever had. If you're looking for a breakfast spot nearby come here. Even if you're 30 miles away I say it's worth it. They have the best apple pie I've ever eaten. I don't know what I was eating before but I don't think it was apple pie compared to the apple pie I just experienced today. The cheese omelette was perfect. You might have a bit of a wait for your food but it's totally worth it. Please be patient and wait your turn. They didn't forget about you. I think that's just the pace of life up here. It's fine, you don't rush amazing food. I felt like someone I knew cooked the food with love and really put their entire foot in it. I'm coming back every time I find myself up here. I'm glad I came. And the staff is very kind.
Great homestyle diner food!! Love the environment and staff. For sure made regulars out of us. Be back soon for pictures of the food.
The liver and onions are outta this world. Just amazing I ordered double and I'm so super glad that I did. Well worth whatever I paid. Thank you so much.
Homage pies & great wait- people. Local friendly universally cordial.... right across from Kraft cheese store. R!
Really immerses you in that classic diner feel. It is a little cramped inside but the tall booths make you feel like you have more privacy which is nice. Their French toast is good and their syrup is tasty. It would be nice if they gave you free refills with soda, especially since they give you small cups. They know what they're doing!
The best Mac and cheese! Friendly servers, old time diner experience, clean.
Great small town diner feel. Great service.
Decent, home-cooked style food. Big portions. Looks a bit ratty inside & could be cleaned-up a bit more. Some overall upgrades would be a nice change. Their Pies are awesome!! 🥧
