Fast friendly and yummy food. Pic of cup of chili with cheese. Plenty of sauces to choose from. Place order, give name and be seated for serving. Nice size handicapped single bathroom. Small, medium and large sizes for subs. Upgrade your side of chips for soup, chili, brownie or a side salad. Nice clean bright location.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I didn’t know what to order because this was my first visit. The Manager who took my order was very patient. Also, the service at the Middletown location was very fast. The Jamaican medium sub was very fresh and delicious. I will definitely be a repeat Guest/Customer at Firehouse Subs.
Review isn't based on food, it's a chain sandwich shop, if you like Firehouse subs elsewhere, you'll like them here and vice versa. What makes this a great location is the people. Seriously, everyone always seems warm and welcoming, just a pleasant experience. Couldn't ask for anything better.
I used to go at lunch often. Had not been in a more than a year. Still great sandwiches and service. It was very busy and took about 15 minutes to get my sandwich. I mistakenly picked the small size which was about 5" in length. Was delicious though. Also as a combo that size sandwich, drink, and chips was about $7. Next time I'm going to buy a pickle bucket which is a donation.
This is the best Firehouse location. The gentleman who took my order is always friendly and I look forward to seeing him. The turkey bacon ranch is my favorite and is always very good. I live closer to other locations but come out of my way to come here.
So good, got Turkey bacon ranch that had great sauce, melted just right! Modern Coca-Cola dispenser. Also saw a new Jamaican Jerk sandwich we will have to come back to try! Very attentive staff also, seemed like we weren't actually fast-fooding!
Firehouse is the best sub shop around! You can get your sub in a small, medium, or large now and there are plenty of options for add-ons. They also have healthier and vegetarian options. The wait time is usually not bad as long as you don't go when they are super busy. The staff is very polite and always willing to fix any problems with a smile and yet I see rude customers all the time! There is one manager is particular, young girl with brown hair who is very sweet, you can tell she works very hard. Prices are comparable and it's a very clean restaurant, would highly recommend. I'm here all the time!
Best subs in town! They are willing to walk through any questions you have about their items. Takeout is especially convenient because they number all the subs and put the key in your bag so you can get it all sorted at home!
Finally tried this and I was amazed at how great the food tastes. Employees are super nice and very helpful. I love the fact that a portion of each order goes to helping first responders. If I want a sub in the future, this will be my goto place.

A very good place for very good subs. Staff is very friendly and always willing to take your order. Food can be pricey but it's worth it. The subs are absolutely delicious. Definitely a place to go.
