They recently opened a neveria (ice cream parlor) inside the restaurant. My husband and I stopped in for an afternoon snack. We tried several flavors including watermelon, mango, and lime which were all made with the actual fruit. Also tried tequila ice cream. Everything we tried was fantastic....

El tarasco is our favorite Mexican place on the east end. There is also one in at Matthews that is just as good. The food and service are always great! Good prices, too.
If I am not mistaken this place went under NEW MANAGEMENT, it's still a taco place with the BEST TACOS I've tasted here in Louisville,KY. They also have THE BEST ICE CREAM SPOT, all flavors are homemade... They have many TREATS to choose from, very Mexican, real delicious TRY IT if you have not. The people are very attentive always making sure that your drink is filled and making sure you don't need anything... The Tacos are very cheap too, as I said these people make EVERYTHING homemade and you can taste the difference. They have a buffet on SUNDAYS from 11am-2pm which I have not been to yet, but TRY THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVEN'T IN THE PAST 3 months. It's a family owned business now.
My family dine there on a regular basis. Always delicious and great service. Casual Mexican food.
