Steak 'n Shake

Love this new model... order at kiosk, they call your number or bring order to your table, I only eat the double steakburger and fries with shake, every time, I order with no bun and extra lettuce to make a wrap, the kiosk is easy to operate, and the staff are very willing to help, the place was clean, friendly, my order was correct and piping hot fries, restrooms were clean... you can get a fully dressed double steak burger, fries, and a big shake with add-ins for $10

This particular Steak N Shake was very clean and orderly. The staff were all kind and courteous. The food was prepared just as it was ordered and it came to us very quickly. The bathrooms were clean, the drink station was well stocked and the parking lot wasn't covered with trash. Thank you for allowing us to have a very pleasant experience! 👍👍

Foods always fresh and hot. Great 4.99 meal which was a steak burger n fries. Way better than McDonald's over priced little cheese burgers and cold fries and lots of rude employees especially at the drive thru. Steak and shake gives you napkins and asks if you want any condiments at McDonald's you have to ask for salt or ketchup and upcharge 20 cents for Xtra onions. Ridiculous. Steak and shake needs major recognition.

I love the new kiosk setup where you order the food. They cooked it quickly and brought it straight to my table. Everything about it was done correctly. And then I ordered a milkshake, and they now have the big fat milkshake straws. That is a huge improvement on trying to suck through a little straw. The place was very clean. Had no issues whatsoever

I'm glad that this Steak 'n Shake location was able to make a comeback after COVID. I'm generally a fan of Steak 'n Shake, but this one more out of convenience than anything since it's about 2 miles from home. While I'm glad they were able to come back, I'm not a fan of some of the changes that were made. The most prominent one being ordering at a kiosk. #NotAFan There's something to be said for talking to a human being to place an order. The kiosks are 100% impersonal and are void of any human interaction at all. A part of the appeal of Steak 'n Shake is the throwback aesthetic of drive-up restaurants. It's now relegated to pushing buttons on a touch screen. Kiosks not withstanding, our visits to this location have been pretty good. We generally go on Friday evenings and there's usually a person in the dining room that's basically doing what a server would do after that server took the order instead of a piece of electronics. They help deliver food when the name is called, offer to get drink refills or condiments, help keep tables clean, or assist in other ways. They're dressed in the way that the servers used to be. The atmosphere hasn't changed much. It's still got a pretty laid back, vintage feel with lots of red, black and while, accented with some neon lights. Seems there used to be more booths than there are now. No matter, the ambiance is fun and makes me feel young. I don't notice any big changes in the menu since they came back. I 100% dig their Frisco Melt. While I love their fries, they get cold SO freakin' fast it's disappointing. When you get your fries you basically have to shove them all in your mouth at once, otherwise they'll be nothing but cold, deep-fried potato straws shortly. It's nice to have the Steak 'n Shake back, it really is. I can adjust. I really can.
