Food was good but there was a bigger issue on this Christmas eve. To the management of this establishment, next year just do online/carryout orders. Never be so greedy as to overwhelm servers that can barely keep up because there's only 3 people working and giving full blown service. The folks that tried their best, kudos to you all. You guys definitely deserve a bonus for being stressed on a holiday.

Food so dang good you will think your (Asian) mama cooked it. Pauline is an awesome host. So great we came two nights in a row for our group there in Louisville on business. We came last year and had to come back for more this year. Be sure and ask for the house hot mustard! You can’t go wrong with anything from Pauline’s menu.

The spicy dumpling soup will knock your socks off! Was my favorite dish we tried followed by fried crab rangoon and beef and broccoli! Everything was fresh and cook perfectly. We brought our large service dog and had zero problems. We also got a kick out of the the $2 lazy dog sake that comes in a juice box!

I had visited Joy Luck about 6 months ago with my boyfriend and the food was out of this world, but the service was really slow. We had been wanting to come back for a long time but we're not able to, until tonight! The food was still out of this world extraordinarily amazing, but the manager on duty, Mitch, was what really made the experience for us. He was social, friendly, informed about the menu, and really helped us to have a beautiful evening. Shout out to the cooking staff on duty, and the rest of the staff as well. You guys have a great team. We will definitely be back soon and continue to do so more regularly!

The food was good, our buns we cold. They did offer to fix it. They were having power issues, so it was a little hot in there, but no biggie for us. The owner was trying to make sure that we were taken care of. I got the duck and the flavor was good and the presentation was great. My friend got the walnut shrimp, I think the kids call it, bussin. Lol 😂 They did offer to make everything right on our next visit, but we were traveling through. I would recommend this place.

Love, love, love this place! Came to Louisville to eat at another place that was closed and decided to come here instead. I'm so glad I did! This place was great! Quaint, clean and quiet. The staff was magnificent and very personable. Waiter recommended Cantonese roast duck and I must say it's the best dish I've had in awhile. Can't get over how nice all the staff were. I will definitely return! Highly Highly recommend!
