We went early on a Sunday morning with out of town guests. It was our first time there, and we enjoyed it. The service was good, the food was good, and there is a great menu. I just wanted a short stack and one chicken sausage, and it was delicious. The pancakes were delicate, and delicious. I asked for banana, and it was presented lovely. There were 5 of us, each had a different breakfast, everyone was happy. A little pricey, but yummy.
Good food with a very friendly staff. Chicken fried steak was really good!
We went for breakfast Saturday morning. Sat outside. They have roughly 6 tables with umbrellas facing the street. The service was good. A little slow at the beginning but then it was just right. Very friendly. We got avocado toast Benedict, steak and eggs, and chilaquiles. All were pretty good. The only critique I have was that the eggs on the chilaquiles were very runny. We asked for over medium. Their potatoes were good. Everyone enjoyed the food. The chilaquiles were large enough to feed two people. I’d come back if I was in the area again.
Hemingway Benedict is amazing!! Thanks, Pete, for your delightful service!!!
Food exceptionally delicious, as usual! Savannah was great! Thanks, again!!
Another wonderful meal with Pete serving us!!
Wow, $10.00 Egg Benedict!! I was already thinking that they were going to a disappointment but to my surprise, they were perfectly done. The service was superb. Definitely coming back.
I had a really good breakfast today. I had the chilaquiles with eggs over-easy. It was very tasty and delicious. It comes with a salsa that has a nice kick. Yet is tasty and not too spicy. The coffee mugs are huge by the way. Our waiter was really attentive and kept refilling our coffee. It is a nice chill vibe to hang out and have a nice breakfast. I strongly recommend it.
The food was amazing! Everyone was friendly, the reason I gave the service 4 stars is because we were told we would be called once our table was ready. After 25 min, we went back & the young lady was like oh right?! It happens, I get it, but there were multiple tables already cleared and available. My top recommendations for the food are the steak & eggs and the churro toast. The pineapple juice did not taste good 😕. Overall, I would come back again, but maybe after 1pm.
First time visiting and I can't wait to come back customer service was EXCELLENT and the food omg it was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS 😋.
Kept driving by, seeing this place and FINALLY stopped in to give it a try. So glad I did. Food was fantastic. Pancakes were light and fluffy, fruit on top was really fresh. Nancy, our server, was exceptional. Would go back again just for her.
Super quaint and clean on the inside, including bathrooms. Outside dining is available. Small parking lot is next to it and there is street parking.
Gave it 4 stars because it is a little pricey. Don't get me wrong, it is worth it!! I just can't frequent here as often as I would like to.
A cozy breakfast spot in Granada Hills, Main Kitchen Cafe never fails. The food is delicious, prepared quickly and served by a super chill staff. The food always tastes fresh and it's easy to tell the ingredients are of a high quality. The seating area is a bit crowded so when it's packed it can be a bit loud but the overall vibe is super inviting and a chill way to spend breakfast time.
I had the tiramisu french toast and it was a divine experience. The fresh fruit is refreshing and has a pleasant coffee flavor. They serve it with a lot of cinnamon butter and I used it all up!
I highly recommend and I am coming back!
Food was good, was looking forward to eating there. Had passed by several times and liked the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. Most of the food was good except bacon was over cooked and dry as well as the potatoes.
