Wow! Out of this world! It was seasoned perfectly and was one of the best I have ever had. The tater tots were crispy and perfectly seasoned as well. Can't wait to get back to the shack!
Super dope staff. Brought my nine year old in (he's a well behaved old soul) and they treated him like a regular. Great vibe from this place and thanks to staff working on 3/2 at noon for making it an experience he won't forget.

If you're ever in need of a great dive Bar near the beach with large drinks, lots of alcohol and a great price, this is definitely the place to go. Great bartenders, great cooks and servers and real good bar food, you can't go wrong at all. Parking sucks so take an uber. There also tend to be a lot of police in the area so just be careful cause you will get loaded there easily. It is definitely a good time every time I've gone. Try the cheeseburger and the potato skins. They are my favorites!
I was searching for a place to get dinner and came across this gem. The burger was delicious (they put a sausage link on top of which was a delightful surprise!) and the portions were great! The staff was some of the friendliest I’ve come across while in the city, and very pleasant to interact with. I think the place is probably more for locals, but please don’t hesitate to come in here if you want a layed back place to get a burger or a beer!
Neighborhood dive bar with reasonably priced food & drinks. Some evenings they have karaoke & live musicians. The parking lot is now the outdoor seating area but there's a pay for parking lot across the street.
5/5 Shack Burger is a must try if you're visiting. It's always delicious and juicy.

Treasure gem of a spot to get a good burger. The Kelsey Burger is a favorite that comes with bacon and avocado.
Burgers priced around $10, comes with fries. Salads are delicious, I like the BBQ chicken. All salads are under $10 and are huge portions.
You can smoke while you drink so long as you smoke on the patio. Eating is allowed there too so if you’re a smoker, this place is very comfortable.
Even if you don’t smoke, there is plenty of indoor seating that is non smoking.
Employees have been there for a long time and are super nice, adding to the perfectly beachy local feel. Relaxed and casual vibes.

Fist time here.. loved the burgers and of course had to try the funnel cake fries 😋with icing to dip. So good. Also had the zucchini fries, very good. From the outside, you prob won’t give it a second look. But worth the stop. Parking is challenging, but what’s new in Cali 😎
The Shack is great. Joey, Greg, and everyone else who works there are awesome. The food is amazing, my only complaint is the kitchen closes rather early, I believe at 9 pm so make sure you get your food order in before you forget lol. Go on a Friday night for some karaoke 🎤😄
It's been 10+ years since I last ate lunch here, and the best thing about it is that the Shack Burger 🍔 is still fabulous!
Had the Shack Cheeseburger that came topped with a Louisiana style sausage link. It was incredible, very juicy and tasty. Also had the funnel fries that were absolutely killer. Service was very tentative and friendly. Definitely recommend this place right before or after a flight. 12 minutes away from LAX. Have your vaccination card ready otherwise you have to sit outside.
Been coming here since high school when my pals told me about their famous shack 🍔 burger. So that is what I ordered. Except carbless...no bun. Lol They celebrate 50 years this weekend.
