This was my second time at Pour Haus. The first time was a private party about 7 years ago. This last time was Sunday night. I wanted to have a nice glass of wine with a few of my friends, so I asked them to meet me here. There was a woman playing and singing jazz songs with the loveliest voice. They had a delicious gluten and dairy free butternut squash soup and it really was fantastic. I asked the waiter to bring me a glass of red wine. I told him I liked semi sweet things that taste like black cherries and chocolate. He brought me a glass of "Caymas". It was the best glass of wine I've ever had. I have never purchased such an expensive bottle to take home. Normally, the liter bottle would cost around $200. It was $100 there. I have a favorite wine as well as a favorite local jazz musician, Eve Buigues, all from one night out at Pour Haus.
The food is simple, unique, and delicious. The wines are carefully curated from around the world by the owner Lorena, and the wines she selected for us were the best I've ever had. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and caring. The vibe is awesome--live DJs, wonderful colours and lighting. Both Lorena and Pour Haus are amazing, and it's a perfect place for a date, or to go to with family and friends.
There was only outdoor seating when we went, and we were pretty easily able to make a reservation on a weekday night.
The servers were super friendly and nice, and helped us with our questions about cheese and meats and wine. We ordered the bruschetta and pot roast and wow those were great. I wish there were more pot roast though! The wine and charcuterie board were all recommended for us by one of the servers, and they were very good.
There are also boardgames you can ask to play on the table.Great vibes here!
Awesome place to relax and enjoy good drinks and atmosphere. I stopped by here while waiting to head to the airport on a trip and Lorena, my server, was very friendly and attentive. I got a free sample of a special wine and popcorn! It's also in a cool part of town, so definitely try it out.
Most recently, I came for Valentines Day, but I've been here plenty of times before. It's my favorite wine spot because the service is friendly, the appetizers are good (My favorite is papitas bravas), and they aren't on a busy street so you feel like you're visiting a little gem in LA.
Seriously best place in Los Angeles! 😍 Best wine selection. So many cheese and meat options for your boards. Tons of board games to keep your night super fun!
Love the happy hour!! Great wine & good man n cheese & lots of free parking close.
Great wine and the staff is soooo knowledgeable. We've been many times and will continue to go!
This was such a cute wine spot. The prices are ridiculously affordable and the happy hour was one of the best in LA. The wines we tried were pretty good and they even give you a little sample when you arrive with free popcorn. I was super impressed and I have been to most happy hours in town. It’s super cute for a birthday, date or a girls night. Highly recommend their cheese plates too. Definitely coming back!
Good choices of wine you've seen at the store. You can buy by the glass is the bottle is under $50. They have board games and food as well.
Great food tons of wine choices and a fantastic friendly staff they even have some games you can play while you hang out. Our food came out super fast and was delicious. I highly recommend.
Great spot for wine and small bites! Friendly staff, chill atmosphere, and excellent wine selection!
