My review is for a wedding venue and the wedding menu which is all that I've experienced. It's a beautiful intimate venue for a smaller wedding with lots of nooks and crannies for photos, and an on site delicious menu with some meat and veggie options. I love working here as a photographer and the staff is always very kind.
Parking is the most difficult thing, street parking with meter or Uber are your best options to get here.

Great place to have food or that special drink. Great staff and Joshua the manager is awesome to work with. I had the pleasure of working a wedding for Diana and Matt and I was able to plug into there sound system.

The food and atmosphere was good but what really won me over was the customer service. My friends and I spent 3 hrs there and constantly received refills on our waters, bottomless mimosas, and bottomless micheladas without having to ask. Definitely had such a great experience here and would 10/10 come again!

I was looking for a Happy Hour spot in LA near a venue I was going to, and this place came up! The place is GORGEOUS, especially outside. It doesn't get too cold, but when there's an event they'll block out the other side. The inside of the restaurant is quite nice too, it's pretty dark and intimate and the bar looks nice to sit at. Apparently there are blankets outside, so you can ask for it and they'll provide it to you!
Happy Hour menu:
I ordered the Penicillin ($14), it was a little weak and watered down, but overall good.
Chicken ($7) - This was DELICIOUS, there were a lot of flavors, crispy, and it was cut into three pieces. Eat it fast because it cools down quickly.
Ceviche (Thursday special for $5) - This was yummy as well, it comes in a small martini glass.
The other Happy Hour special was a bbq pork slider, my friends tell me it's delicious.
Keep your timer ready because we didn't get a notice when Happy Hour was over. We were charged original prices and had to get it sorted out (we ordered some items on the dot).

I enjoyed the food here. The burger is really good. But the service really wasn’t the best. However when there was an issue with my burger they sorted it out quickly and compensated me with free food and a little cocktail. So that made up for the lack of promptness with our waiter 😊 so thanks and BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS. it is expensive tho. It’s $20 to refill a glass for 2 hours which ends at 3:30pm

The food and service here are both great! I went on a Tuesday at 630 and it wasn't crowded. Cute little spot

I was a vendor at this venue for a corporate event so I didn't get to eat. But horsdoevres were served and guests seemed to love them. The decor is rustic with a large patio with some coverage from weather, lots if planters with planters, and overhead electric heaters. There is an interior area with a bar, seating, dance area, and a stage for the hired DJ.
Some of the tables could use some services because they were rocking a lot. There was tons of seating and a pleasant setting.
Parking is HARD! VERY limited and metered especially on Fridays and weekends. Even in the evenings. So, you may want to find a lot with a flat fee and Uber or Lyft over.

This place is a cute spot, but the service wasn’t that great. The happy hour was a really good deal and the patio is such a nice area, but we waited 15 minutes for a drink during happy hour. The place was slammed with like 1 or 2 servers. If this is such a busy place for happy hour they should bring on more staff. I’m giving it a 4 because it’s so cute and the deals were good, but wish they would step up the service.

Attended a wedding & reception there ordered the rib eye steak medium well and it was very good. The potatoes that were served with the steak were good too, the steak was served with chimichurri sauce which I don't care for but everybody else seemed to be really enjoying it. I would definitely go back on my own.

I really enjoyed the freshness of all the dishes, good mixed drinks, the right amount of tender Greens with the dishes. Seasoned just right not over salted.
The atmosphere is much more local. These hard working people are doing well with what they have to work with. They were all so nice. Service was a little slow but you know if your trying to enjoy slow down and take in some appreciation for non corporate formats. We enjoyed it.

Arrived 5:30 and it's happy hour until 7:30.
Great service from Joshua.
Food was absolutely fantastic.
I had the fish (Bass) and it was cooked to perfection.
My wife's beef ravioli was again perfect.
Wine was excellent.
Too chilly for us to eat on the terrace and it's a little dark inside so take a torch to read the menu :-)

Went there for a private event and everything was amazing. The menu was great. The drinks were creative, I had never had jalapeno in a drink before. The DJ wasn't bad. It made me wonder why we had never ate there before. I plan on going back soon.

Amazing! I love this place, and I cannot wait to go back. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, and I love the indoor/ outdoor open floor plan, not to mention the mason jar lighting. Everything I tried on the menu was super tasty, and perfect for sharing with friends. The service was amazing, which is a huge part of any dining experience. You completely forget that you're in Hollywood, and I cannot wait to go back with my friends.

I went to Madera kitchen for the first time ever to attend a launch for Barefoot wines new Rose. The place is beautiful; comfortable and relaxed yet very elegant with an open concept design..and beautifully decorated.
The food was outstanding!
They have live music at night which tends to be a little loud when your dining but they can shut the glass doors when you request it and then it's not bad.
The parking is a little difficult as the valet gets full and there's only parking lots available but there is a short walk from them to the restaurant.
But hey, we can't have it all right?

I don't know where to start. I had the Goat Cheese Ravioli and it was absolutely amazing. Brianna was my bartender and the drinks were incredible all night. Her and the rest of the staff couldn't have been better. To top it off they surprised me with a delicious desert when they found out it was my birthday. If you're in Los Angeles and want the best visit Madera.

Just like how Manhattanites avoid Times Square, Angelenos avoid Hollywood. Not because Hollywood is void of interesting characters (far from it), but because its high density of tourists make street-navigating frustrating and parking near impossible. On the rare occasion that I make a trek to Hwood, it's for a movie at the ArcLight Dome or a show at the Pantages or the Hollywood Bowl . Yet Madera Kitchen , a restaurant/ event venue located in the heart of Hollywood, manages to stay away from the maddening fray. In fact, Madera provides an atmosphere that is akin to the laid-back style of West LA. With abundant natural lighting, open patio space, and cool beats playing in the background, this is a perfect place to enjoy a casual Sunday brunch balanced by the right amount of people-watching. The eclectic indoor and outdoor design & decor immediately sets this place apart from any other restaurant. Each "room" in the restaurant creates a vibe slightly different from the other, but is overall welcoming. Clearly, the artistic interior designers of this restaurant know what they're doing. The Brunch menu, now available on Saturdays and Sundays, is also heavenly. Amazing combinations of fresh ingredients coupled with very reasonable prices = a memorable meal indeed. Plus, bottomless mimosas for $14! The good news? The food is as good as it sounds on the menu. Blueberry pancakes, squash blossom frittata, bfast sandwich. Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes w/ orange curd, berries, and whipped creme fraiche -- $11 Looks decadent, no? Though drenched in orange curd and topped with a too generous portion of creme fraiche, the pancakes were surprisingly fluffy and not overly dense. This was a sweet touch to our predominantly savory meal. Open-face Breakfast Sandwich -- bacon, eggs over easy, cheddar, jalapeno aioli, arugula, tomato -- $10 For just $10, you can appease your appetite with this beauty of a breakfast sandwich. All of the contributing players are great

Wish I had a better experience. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS RESTAURANT EVER!

The owner Milton is extremely rude and disrespectful. I went to Madera Kitchen on October 17th, 2014 at 11:00 pm. I pulled up to valet and and sat behind two other cars and waited for 10 minutes for a valet guy who never showed up, the car in front of me eventually drove away . I walked into the restaurant and asked a gentleman who worked there (eventually found out he was the manager, Marco) if the valet was still open. He told me yes they must just be busy. I asked if it was ok if I left my car behind all the car and could come back and check for the valet guy. I was told that would be fine. I came back and checked on my car still no valet guy. The third time I checked on my car it was gone. Now the valet guy (united valet parking) Marvin tells me it was towed.

I asked the Manager Marco what happened to my car, he told me to call 311. He apologized but had no way to help me. So a 348.00 tow, 40.00 uber ride home and 30.00 uber ride to the tow company late I called the owner who was managing on the night of October 18th, Milton. The first time I called I talked to a hostess named Kensie, I could here her tell Milton that I was on the phone then she muted the call when she came back on the line she told me "I can't find Milton." When I told her I heard her tell him I called she responded I'm sorry but he just doesn't want to talk now. I called back and spoke with another hostess named Nick, he put me through to Milton who berated me and called me a liar.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS!

Great Patio, Great FOOD, perfect location for Hollywood.. Just ate there last week. Drove in from OC. Parking was easy and the food was delicious. Great small plates and really creative menu. Didn't cost a fortune. Well worth the trip. I'll be back for sure.
