Went here with some old family friends. We wanted to order from the ala carte menu and the unlimited bbq but they didn't let us, so that was a bummer. The meat choices for the unli menu were pretty good. The sides were also yummy. Would come back!

I asked my Korean friend which kbbq I should go to while in LA (because he went there often to visit family), and he couldn't remember. So he asked his mom, and his mom said the really good place closed. And also said any place is probably just as good (I mean, it is Ktown). So I yelped this place up.

Good Quality Meat. What is there not to like for an AYCE Korean BBQ restaurant. It's a tad bit more expensive than other AYCE places but that's because they really use better quality meat. I only come here for AYCE BBQ.

Service here was really strong. The servers are so attentive and really fun to talk to. Very speedy too. The food was also great for the price. Very affordable for all you can eat in LA. Be sure to come hungry. The meets were great and everything came out amazingly. I would wish that they had more than three main sauce options because I love yum yum sauce but overall the options they had were still good. I would definitely come back here and am very glad I chose to come

Great all you can eat Korean BBQ! The meat is fresh, land tender. One of the best kimchi soup I’ve had, very flavorful, a must try! You get 90mins to eat and you can order up to 4 plate at a time. The waiters are very fast picking up empty plates on the table. My only complain would be there’s no ventilation system, the air only travels out with open windows. $37/person. Pretty good deal.

Service was fantastic. They are friendly and polite. Food delivery was quick unlike other places that are slow. Food was delicious and the price is fair.

Our service was AMAZING BY DAVID !! He was absolutely 💯 wonderful. We drove all the way from Sylmar just to try this Korean bbq for the 1st time . David is the reason we will be back , he was accommodating to us, made us feel welcome, explained the menu to us , had patience with us , and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and our bellies were full .

Delicious Korean barbecue at a convenient price. I would definitely go back. Go before 6 on weekends to avoid long waits

I love it I love it! I don't think Korean BBQ will ever be the same anymore for me. The food was SO good. SO tender. SO juicy. I would say though paying extra for the 3 extra dishes wasn't worth it though. The base price you can already get the really good L.A. short ribs. You're allowed to order 3 meat dishes at a time, which was fine by me. The orders come pretty quickly too. I also really enjoyed the bean stew, since it was like a comfort food. There's no dessert though from what I remember, so if you're choosing a place based on free ice cream, this is not the place. But if all you want is high quality meat, Oo Kook got it.

Food was delicious! Definitely worth the price! Just be ready because it's like a sauna in there. The only complaint that I have is that they automatically added a gratuity without informing us. We were a party of 5 so I understand, but there was nothing written anywhere and it was never mentioned. I told the server that although I understand, it should've been told or written somewhere. On my way out I double and triple checked to see if it said it anywhere. The server did apologize and told me it was his fault for not mentioning it, but otherwise nothing else was done. He was an amazing server tho! And we had a lot of good food and a great time there! I would definitely go back again!

These guys were working hard AF when I was here. I'm greatly appreciative of everyone's efforts. Meat is decent for the price, grill changing was solid and staff clearing our table for empty plates and taking care of drinks was great. I only had a few issues. The floor was super slippery. The music was so loud that it was difficult to ask for anything or even call a waiter over when we're ready to order meat. Nothing can be done about customers being loud but if the music is louder than that it's going to be hard to communicate unless the servers were more vigilant. That normally wouldn't be an issue and I understand the servers are dealing with multiple tables but with a 90 minute limit and not being able to put in our order we ended up waiting for a significant amount of time doing nothing. Clearing sides and having them replaced before we even get meat shouldn't happen. I'd at least want to order meat 3 times within the time limit. And that still doesn't feel like enough.

For the price of $37.99 per person for AYCE, it really is a steal in the area, considering there are so many surrounding kbbq spots competing against each other. At that price point, I wasn't expecting filet mignon or rib eye to be on the menu, but it was! I personally love meats that are unseasoned because if the meat is fresh, the natural flavors and juices will show. Plus, that's what dipping sauces are for. I enjoyed the filet mignon, rib eye, beef tongue, brisket and the PARKING: $4 VALET on site or you can try to find free parking in the neighborhood. IMO, it's just easier to pay for valet and get it over with so you can enjoy your meal sooner. They did a fantastic job with parking our car and pulling it up so it was easy for us to get out of the parking lot. Make sure to tip them if they do a superb job! SERVICE: It seems like this spot is a hit or miss with service, but we got lucky and our server, Daniel, was super attentive to our needs. He constantly changed our grills before we could even ask for a grill change, and made sure that we always put our meat orders in. I noticed that other tables had to wait longer for their orders because they had a different server. My experience and rating for this kbbq based on service alone would have been very different if Daniel was not our server. Guess we just got super lucky when we went!

Delicious Korean BBQ in a nice setting. High quality ingredients, price was very fair. Service was excellent. Valet parking was reasonably priced. Bathroom was clean. Will be back for sure.
