We decided try out this place during their soft opening. I could not have been more impressed! We used to live a half a block away and it was great to see the transformation from a vacant abandoned building to this gorgeous space. I've not often been impressed with hotel lobby restaurants, but that has now changed. Every staff member has had months of extensive prep/training for this place, and it shows. Even though its only been open a few days we were treated as if we were regular customers/family. Sandro, both Gabe's, Dan, Cora, Mitch, Matt, Jen, all such gracious, caring people! Love the décor, feels very Frank Lloyd Wright inspired, and retaining a lot of the original details of the building. Very warm and inviting space with the use of wood, tile, plants, eclectic dishes and glasses, feels like you are at a favored relatives for dinner. The food! Some of the best hummus we have ever tasted! with house made pita bread, to die for! We also had the beets, so many interesting flavors from the spices and seasonings, but all the dishes are like that. I had the hangar steak which is not always the most tender cut but this serving I was practically able to cut with a fork. And once again, the seasonings used on it where so unique. My partner had the trout which was a whole butterflied fish. Again, unique seasonings made it an amazing piece of fish. Dan was a great server, very attentive and friendly, great at describing how each dish was prepared. The wine list is also very eclectic and Matt helped us choose what wine to order. He doesn't have his wine cellar set up to his satisfaction yet and the wine was a tad too warm for his comfort to serve so he put it on ice for a few minutes to chill it down to a perfect serving temp. Little touches like that are what makes a place. For dessert we had the olive oil cake. More savory than sweet, it was a perfect finish to our meal. This is the first olive oil cake I've had in a restaurant that was just as good (and actually better) than the one I make at work! After our meal we were personally invited to the Rudolph Bar in the lobby. So glad we did, Mitch and Jen were great to talk to. They personally asked about what we like in a cocktail and helped us choose what to order. Needless to say we will be regulars!

Delicious and inventive cocktails and dishes! Shareable plates are on the small side… I’ve always wondered why restaurants give you three portions of something (as with the falafel and shrimp) when people dine in parties of two or four (typically even numbers), thus someone always gets left out. Any event super cute place with an awesome chill vibe!

Love the atmosphere of this place! It has a cozy, old world meets new world, vibe!!! When I travel, I seek out unique cuisines. This menu delivers for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike with it's Isreal and Cali inspired marriage!!! The servings are an amble amount. The price point is justified with the service, presentation and flavors all being exceptional! The wine selection is fantastic and our server was both knowledgeable and informative about all the dishes. She also helped me pair my lunch perfectly with a white wine! I will be back and marked this as a to go to in my journal!

I love this restaurant! It has such a great vibe. The cocktails and food are amazing. We have had Christian as our server and Angel as our busser each time we have come here. Christian is very attentive and friendly and has great knowledge of the menu. With the assistance of Angel they always provide us with great service and the food always come out in a timely manner. I can't wait to come back!

This was quite an interesting surprise inside a boutique hotel, it is Israeli/Cali based cuisine. Despite having things like kabob, it is also vegetarian friendly too though you can easily request for grilled chicken an such to be added to their salads and quinoa bowl. I loved how fresh yet well flavored everything was.

Normally I'm not a fan of wood paneling, but somehow it works in this vibrant yet cozy space. The music is set at just the right level so you're not yelling at your fellow guests. The staff were a fun and eclectic group who all seemed to work very well together. The food and cocktails were outstanding! We will definitely return.

The servers were very nice, I would recommend not to sit on the bar because the bar chairs are tad bit uncomfortable and there isn’t enough space for foot rest. Food was great though and the interior too.

I chose from the DineLA menu. It was an incredible amount of food for the price. Everything I had had a bit of kick to it. My starter was an interesting assortment of pickles and olives with a spicy, crunchy shredded salad, a hummus-like spread and a warm cloud of pita. I loved the exotically spiced grilled lamb kabab with broccoli served in a shallow pot. And the dessert! My mouth had a whole new experience! The malabi was a delightful combination of flavors, textures and temperatures that I cannot describe! You have to try it! Also, the staff was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely go back.

Great cozy atmosphere. I was welcomed with smiles and great service. However, the food is just OK. Nothing spectacular that would make me dying to come back.
