Stopped by after an appointment, and there was a small line. It moved quickly, though. The chefs are always friendly and helpful. We went with a torpedo and a hot pastrami with cheese. We took a drive to friendship park and enjoyed a little picnic with the wifey. They have the best fresh sandwiches in the area. The bread is always soft and fresh. We highly recommend this place but make sure you bring cash. They have an ATM inside, just in case.

Nice mom and pop shop on the corner of two small streets. Nothing fancy, no frills. **Cash only**
This is a small supermarket with tons of drinks and beer in fridges on your path down to the back counter of sandwich makers. There was a small line which gave us time to decide what we wanted.
We got the Italian torpedo sandwich, which were already pre-made on the counter. We also got the pastrami dip sandwich, where the meat was warmed in a broth and placed into the sandwich bun.
Took it to a local park and enjoyed them while viewing the ocean and company.
Definitely would come here again!

I've been a loyal customer of this local sandwich shop for years, and the experience keeps me coming back time and time again. The food here is consistently excellent, and I have a couple of personal favorites that never disappoint.
My go-to order is the pastrami sandwich, and it's always a treat. The pastrami is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, making every bite a flavorful delight. Whether it's piled high or just the right amount, it's consistently delicious.
However, if you're in the mood for something different, I highly recommend trying the BBQ pork. It's nothing short of amazing. The tender and succulent pork, combined with their mouthwatering sauce, creates a mouthful of pure bliss.
I can't recommend it enough. The food quality and friendly service have kept me coming back for years, and I'm sure you'll find something equally satisfying on their menu. Whether you're a pastrami lover like me or an adventurous foodie, you're in for a tasty treat.

Classic sandwich place in Pedro! These sandwiches are amazing! All kinds of different meats and your standard toppings cold or hot and the hot sandwiches they cover and smother with A very tasty marinara sauce. My personal favorite is the turkey pastrami hot. Served with a side of pepperoncinis. Now these sandwiches are super messy but it's so delicious! Nom nom nom!
This place usually is packed because these sandwiches are so sought after.
Oh and it's cash only.

This is an absolutely must if you are in San Pedro. It’s been around for a long time. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. Never once had a bad sandwich. Prices have gone up but hey what hasn’t? If you want to avoid the line place a phone order or avoid going at lunch time. Even if you find yourself waiting I promise it will be well worth it. Highly recommend the Meatball the pastrami the belly buster and if you want a cold sandwich get them torpedo. What ever you choose to get I promise you your tastebuds will enjoy every single bite.

The best sandwich shop in San Pedro. It's a local institution. Everybody in the area goes here. Check it out! It's not a regular dine in place, you call in or go inside and order and be on your way. They have a sort of mini market going on so if you need snacks like chips, sodas or candy they have a decent assortment. If you want some cool Busy Bee shirts etc. They have a selection.

for 30 years, the best sandwiches in SoCal hands down. The roast pork is my favorite, their meatball is the bomb and the belly buster is always a classic. Seriously, if you are hungry in San Pedro, go there.

This place has the best sandwiches in San Pedro. It's hidden gem to say the least. I tried the roasted pork sandwich with everything on it. It was DELICIOUS!!!! Had a cherry coke and the Hawaiian Sweet & Spicy chips..... mmmmmmm. This can definitely feed two people.

Hope you've got an appetite. No frills, straight-forward place for filling sandwiches. Roast pork is hard to resist no matter how many times I go there, determined to order a pastrami or mortadella sandwich. 😉

I have heard alot of hype about this place so we decided to give this place a try and see if it lived up to it. Well..I heard it was gonna be a long wait so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that we were already placing our order at the counter within 30 minutes. There happened to be a couple just ahead of us that also said it was their first time so today was a good day for them too. We got to the counter and placed our order for a turkey, avocado and provolone sandwich with a side of macaroni salad and 2 (805) tall cans. This is a market so they do not have any place to sit down and eat it...Soo; Here is how it went down once paid for our items. We took said items down the hill to a beach park setting and quickly unpacked it all. The bread was super fresh and the turkey was freshly cut into thick slices. The portion was admirable but wait; The taste. First bite was juicy and flavorful and messy. We both stopped all coherent conversation in replacement for a serious of harmonious mmmms. All in all; I WILL BE BACK. I would've waited over an hour for this thing and I can see why people do. Good job guys! Oh.. BTW; I also bought one of there tank tops to commemorate this day. Worth it! This thing will fill you up for sure but whilst we were in the area we also hit up BUONOS PIZZA. I am reviewing this place right after I put this last period.

Awesome 👍 Sandwiches! Ordered a beef Brisket, Corned beef, and of course the all time favorites....PASTRAMI🥖😋. There was a longline but it went by super fast and well worth the wait. Oh BTW they have a Belly Buster sandwich... maybe next time it consist of two meats of your choice and it's practically double the meat of the reg sandwich ($12-13) for only 2-3 dollars more $15.00! What a deal! The reg sandwiches already have lots of meat. So good and bread super soft and 🤤 yummy! Would definitely recommend it! Planning to go back next week! Go get some and tell me what you think.
P.S. Don't forget cash only...they have an ATM On-site but I think they must charge a good amount. I dunno 🤔.

Really yummy! Simple sandwiches with flavor. They are around 14/16$ but they are a really good size. I got 2 and ate them for the next two days. Service was really friendly, it was my first time and they were kind.

Visiting this deli since 2000 and their sandwiches are the best, now we live in San Bernardino and it worth the drive, all our family loves them, SUPER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Very cool experience if you are in the San Pedro area. Hands down the best sun sandwich I’ve ever had. I would recommend the hot pastrami. Grab your chips and beer and go to the park and you’re set. It is cash only but they have an ATM inside. The workers are very nice and sandwiche is made quickly.
