Stopped by after an appointment, and there was a small line. It moved quickly, though. The chefs are always friendly and helpful. We went with a torpedo and a hot pastrami with cheese. We took a drive to friendship park and enjoyed a little picnic with the wifey. They have the best fresh sandwiches in the area. The bread is always soft and fresh. We highly recommend this place but make sure you bring cash. They have an ATM inside, just in case.
Nice mom and pop shop on the corner of two small streets. Nothing fancy, no frills. **Cash only**
This is a small supermarket with tons of drinks and beer in fridges on your path down to the back counter of sandwich makers. There was a small line which gave us time to decide what we wanted.
We got the Italian torpedo sandwich, which were already pre-made on the counter. We also got the pastrami dip sandwich, where the meat was warmed in a broth and placed into the sandwich bun.
Took it to a local park and enjoyed them while viewing the ocean and company.
Definitely would come here again!

Classic sandwich place in Pedro! These sandwiches are amazing! All kinds of different meats and your standard toppings cold or hot and the hot sandwiches they cover and smother with A very tasty marinara sauce. My personal favorite is the turkey pastrami hot. Served with a side of pepperoncinis. Now these sandwiches are super messy but it's so delicious! Nom nom nom!
This place usually is packed because these sandwiches are so sought after.
Oh and it's cash only.
This is an absolutely must if you are in San Pedro. It’s been around for a long time. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. Never once had a bad sandwich. Prices have gone up but hey what hasn’t? If you want to avoid the line place a phone order or avoid going at lunch time. Even if you find yourself waiting I promise it will be well worth it. Highly recommend the Meatball the pastrami the belly buster and if you want a cold sandwich get them torpedo. What ever you choose to get I promise you your tastebuds will enjoy every single bite.

The best sandwich shop in San Pedro. It's a local institution. Everybody in the area goes here. Check it out! It's not a regular dine in place, you call in or go inside and order and be on your way. They have a sort of mini market going on so if you need snacks like chips, sodas or candy they have a decent assortment. If you want some cool Busy Bee shirts etc. They have a selection.

Was so Great first of all the view around the area was pretty I went with my Family of 3 we got everything we could think of my husband is a get it all kind of Man I’ll tell everyone it was a great eat and experience 10 out of 10

for 30 years, the best sandwiches in SoCal hands down. The roast pork is my favorite, their meatball is the bomb and the belly buster is always a classic. Seriously, if you are hungry in San Pedro, go there.
This place has the best sandwiches in San Pedro. It's hidden gem to say the least. I tried the roasted pork sandwich with everything on it. It was DELICIOUS!!!! Had a cherry coke and the Hawaiian Sweet & Spicy chips..... mmmmmmm. This can definitely feed two people.
