Early holiday dinner date with family, thanks for the suggestion. Very personal and friendly service! It was our first time trying a Burmese restaurant, including Lotus root and Ginkgo seed! Delicious food for a dinner date!

I absolutely adore Green Elephant! The flavors of their Burmese cuisine are an exquisite dance on the taste buds. Despite being a cozy setup with just a husband and wife managing, the personalized attention they give to every diner is remarkable. The limited hours, while slightly inconvenient, add a sense of exclusivity that enhances the overall experience. It's undeniably our top choice for dining out – a hidden gem where the dedication of the owners shines through in every delectable dish. The steak and butter chicken are our favorite. We love coming here. We highly recommend

Such a hidden gem that I hesitate to rate because I prefer it stay small and relatively unknown for my own selfish reasons. As long as you plan accordingly, and I actually recommend calling ahead a food order this place is magnificent. The food is like none other that I can find anywhere here locally let alone in some of the better foodie cities across the country. Fresh, unique and traditional Burmese with other options as well. love the chicken salad, laksa soup, fried catfish, and many others.

The couple that owns this are from Burma and take great efforts to bring authentic Burmese flavors to the community. They have consistent regulars that know they are in for a treat. Highly recommend.

The only Burmese restaurant I'm aware of in a 50 mile radius, Green Elephant is unmatched, serving dishes that seem to bridge iconic Indian and Southeast Asian meals. I love the lighting and decoration of the dining room, and the woman who runs the place is very attentive, helpful, and easy going. I am not especially familiar with classic Burmese food, but Green Elephant seems to be an excellent place to get acquainted. Tea leaf Salad - Savory, crunchy, and lightly acidic, with a variety of toasted seeds and nuts. A great starter and an excellent dish alongside a cold beer. Chili Jam Chicken - A strange name that perfectly describes this delicious entree. Sweet, spicy, nutty, tangy, and aromatic. The chicken is marinated in a house chili jam and it shows, very tender and flavorful. Mixed Vegetable Curry - Great variety of vegetables (lotus root!) in a savory, sweet, coconut milk broth. Mee Goreng - Stir fried noodles with curry powder flavor and plenty of vegetables. Perfectly easy fried egg on top, with lime and lao gan ma. Also, they make fresh mango lassi! Overall a wonderful restaurant with awesome vegetarian options that I will definitely be returning to.

They have very friendly and personal-feeling service because the waitress was very helpful in giving us suggestions in what to order and helped us pick things that she recommended. This was very nice because it was our first time and she helped us pick delicious traditional Burmese food. They have good vegan options and the food in general has a very good taste. Overall it has a very authentic feel with interesting and delicious flavors. If you like to try new things this is a very good option.
