Gander Taphouse

The Gander Taphouse conveys a fruit packing shed with a rustic cabin feel with plants throughout the taphouse. Gander Taphouse is a place where people connect with family, friends or a first date. There is shuffleboard and foosball inside, cornhole and connect four outside on the patio. It's a great date spot. Grab a cold beer and find a cozy place to get to know each other. Or break the ice and start off with a friendly game of foosball. If you'd like to extend the date, a romantic stroll throughout downtown Loomis would set the mood for that first kiss. I would recommend going to the Taphouse during the week, since the weekends tend to get busy and loud with live music on the weekends. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

Nice little place with a number of rotating taps. Lots of IPAs, but this is California, after all. They did have a decent dry stout and strong ale on tap on the day I visited. Note that it is in the Blue Goose Event Center on the far left as you face it from the street....not so easy for non-locals to find, but worth it if you get there.

Gander Taphouse is a welcoming addition to the town of Loomis. They offer a warm, welcoming, family environment. Along with a wide variety of choice craft beers it also offers wine, kombucha (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) delicious food and games (shuffleboard, foosball, connect four, and cornhole).
