The diamond on the coast for sure That place you go to once 2 ones and can't wait to get back the next time to eat your favorite seafood dish,I've been coming here 6 years While I'm on vacation. My favorite is the shrimp poboy for lunch and the captain's platter for dinner. If you want the best drive past the rest check It out Beautiful golf view from the patio or give them a holler if you have a large party they got everything you need.

Absolutely love this place, small and local. People who work there are fantastic. I feel terrible that they're so short-staffed and can't get people to come into work, but they always serve fresh perfectly cooked food.
The food is excellent here and in a kind of fun environment.
The original restaurant was destroyed by Katrina and rebuilt like a giant concrete box on stilts.
The owner told me, one evening, that even the windows are rated for over 200 miles per hour winds. They have an elevator and stairs. You can dine inside or on their balcony area that has several tables and has a view of the Mississippi Sound (the sound is the shallower part of the gulf of Mexico before the barrier islands.)
Their spicy Cajun Crawfish are great and not too much heat. For about $8 you can get a pound of crawfish, a boiled potato and a boiled corn on the cob (all boiled and served together.)
I really enjoyed their fried shrimp.
Their Royal Reds are great and for $10, much cheaper than the more touristy restaurants.
Everything was delicious. This is a great place to stop and dine or take out as you pass by on 90.
One important note. They are closed on Monday. So if you are going by on Monday, you will miss out.
Clear 5 stars for me and I live on the Gulf Coast and know my food.
Took 3 people here. We started out with a few pounds of crawfish, and the flavor/texture was easily one of the best I've had on the coast. Moved on to raw oysters, which were excellent. Then I ordered the Shrimp and Crawfish Diablo. The flavor of the sauce is excellent. Also, it full of crawfish and shrimp. Everyone finished their meal, plus a cheesecake desert, which I didn't have room for.

During the weekday was not as busy as expected. Cuisine was on point for area and season. Service was fast and friendly. All employees including the cook was out in the dining areas, between orders, making small talk which added to this eaterys overall charm. Price was comprobable to other places in the area (family of 5 about 100$) I will visit again in the near future.
Absolutely the best lunch!! Exactly what we wanted! Came in town for Casinos did a little drive down the beach. The outside may detour you but don’t let it, just needs a little TLC but the food is absolutely amazing! We had fried pickles, crawfish, Parmesan oysters, corn and potatoes.. will absolutely be back. The staff is very friendly and clean place!
