Lola’s Mexican Cuisine

I've been lucky enough to dine at Lola's Long Beach a couple of times now. The food is really outstanding, and they are vegan friendly! On my last visit, I enjoyed the vegan taco plate with rice and beans, and my wife ordered the vegan breakfast burrito off the weekend brunch menu. Both items were exceptional. Service was excellent, given how very busy the restaurant was and how hard everyone was working. Can't wait to return. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

We stopped here on a whim, came to do an errand from San Diego. I HIGHLY recommend it. WAY better in every way than I expected or thought. From the waitress, to the decorations and accents, to the server, to the food, the quality…. The margarita was incredible. All three plates we ordered were top notch. The crunchy tacos, bean and cheese burrito, and the Baja salad with shrimp. It was vegan, vegetarian friendly which is why we came. The horchata was DELICIOUS! Chips and salsa amazing fresh. Service is amazing! Thank you!

Cute little place in Long Beach. Came for a quick meal with a Vegan and Semi-Vegan. As a carnivore, I had the Birria queso tacos. It was absolutely delicious! Service was as good as it could be, seemed a little short staffed, but everyone was still pleasant. Atmosphere was nice, had the table near the door, so was a tad chilly for the evening. I would definitely come back to try some other things on the menu that caught my eye.

I only had nachos that had beans and cheese only and I thought the beans were very dry. However the small side of guacamole I ordered was very good and so was the avocado dipping sauce that came with the basket of chips, I was glad that it wasn't spicy at all because usually places make everything so hot I can barely eat it. I wish they had blended Margaritas but they only had on the rocks and they were very small and had too many types of alcohol in them and I didn't like the way they tasted together, but maybe that's just my taste. Service was great, the place is casual I liked that and I noticed as I was leaving they had a full bar so nightlife must be good.

Great food! I was pressed for time and my server advised me accordingly. I loved the lunch menu Chicken Verde Molé Bowl, a perfect blend of savory, spicy, and tangy. I substituted the garlicky whole beans and liked their taste a lot. Their guacamole was the bomb. And the two salsas served with the chip basket were very good. They have outdoor and indoor seating. l will definitely go again.
