One of a kind place. Appx. 20 yes ago, on our honeymoon we discovered this place In Pass Christian, and fell in love with the food and service. A yr or 2 went by after a hurricane. Then we discovered the new location. And we stop everytime we pass through. Still amazing food and even better service. The place where locals go. I think it's the best seafood in the area. Also try a slab of cheesecake if its your first time.. also the Owner mr. Robert it great. And the staff is the best.. I'll continue to eat here as much as possible.. thanks HVC.

Always good food at Harbor View, with friendly staff. I have enjoyed their prime rib on Thursdays. Yummy! Always tender. Sandwiches are tasty as well. Their fried seafood is excellent! Last night I decided to try their Grand Chicken Caesar salad. Very good!!! The chicken was very tender, and the Greek olives gave it an added touch. We especially enjoy their Sunday breakfasts, but they end at 11 and can only get lunch. Great selection of various types of eggs, pancakes, etc. It's always a good place to go, and has a nice selection of food. Be sure to check out the outstanding desserts.....always the best. Check out the Red Velvet cake. It's some of the best ever! Great selection of yummy desserts! You can't go wrong dining here.
First time visiting in close to five years. Prior to my lengthy absence, I was a frequent visitor to this wonderful cafe. Harbor View consistently offers delicious dishes with a real flair for local flavors and ingredients. The restaurant has a generous outdoor patio and a comfortable, stylish interior that complements the menu and "vibe". Can't wait until my next visit!
Food is Great! The staff are caring and very helpful and are very knowledgeable of all the items on the menu's. Highly recommend not only locals, but visitors stop for a enjoyable meal with absolutely stunning seating overlooking the harbor!
The BLT on rye was really good. The bacon was a tad overcooked but still tasted good because the veggies were fresh and bread was good quality.
The fries were mediocre. I paid extra for them so it was a little disappointing to get fries that tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Overall though, they were still decent. Most likely wouldn't even notice. It was slight but it was there.
The service was good despite being fairly busy and the waitstaff looking like they were a bit overburdened. I was in and out at lunchtime in about 30 minutes.
My husband and I could have gone anywhere to have lunch today, but we decided to go to Harbor View to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious. We couldn’t eat another bite so we brought dessert to eat at home later. We will go back soon. Thanks Harbor View!!! We are back to Harbor View again. My husband had a shrimp poboy and French fried and it’s an up charge of $3 and I have a Cuban sandwich and onion rings with mine and again it’s an up charge of $3 for that as well. They were great 😊. No dessert for today maybe next time! Thank you Harbor View

Came back in July. Tried the crab cakes and shrimp! Both were awesome!!
Saturday night, no wait time, food was excellent. Our server Katie was the best. I had seafood gumbo, crab cakes and grilled red fish. Outstanding!!
Harbor View Cafe has everything going for it: beautiful facility, beautiful view, great staff, excellent food, and an easy location off the main strip in Long Beach.
I had the Cuban sammich (without pickles.) Very tasty and filling. One of the best Cuban's I've had on the Coast. Another member of our party had a Patty Melt, it was HUGE! One of the biggest Patty Melts on the Coast. And another party member had a Rueben, it was also HUGE! Outside of St Patricks Day when locations make special Ruebens, this one was a record breaker.
The ONLY downsides might be discovered during their busiest hours. You might encounter a wait to get seated because it is THAT popular. And you might have issues hearing because the place is FILLED and everyone is happy and loud. But those are signs of how good it is, not anything worth complaining about. At least for me.
Plain and simple: go here, you'll enjoy it!
