Peet's Coffee

Peet's is one of the nicest Coffee Shops in Long Beach; great location on 2nd St (well... I love 2nd St and most everything about this busy area). This perky Peet's Coffee is very clean, cozy, comforting, cool, stylish, what a friendly staff; makes this Peet's a practically perfect place to spend the incredible time of you; to get your phenomenal lovely liquid fix for another fantastic start of yet another vibrant day in the amazing story of you! "Have fun" my mom would tell me almost everytime I went out... I am sharing her wisdom with you hoping you listen to her kind words of advice my friend and get the best for it. Yes, yes; I know I rave on and on about Long Beach; one reason is the people (actually folks) that live in Long Beach are very approachable (the take on this 21st century phenom is that this now International City was once a tiny, tiny, very small town which was settled bya group of lovely folks from the midwest and they brought along a great spirit of neighborliness with them and planted it right here in Long Beach... These friendly settlers have gifted the area with a vibrant community of folks that are very easy to meet, very very easy to talk with... They are extremely likable... so me, well, I enjoy myself very much in places like Peet's on this exceedingly special turf (2nd St in LB). Yes, okay! Very friendly staff, they greet you when you walk in and help customers as quickly and efficiently as possible. I usually come on Sunday and it's often busy, but never thronged. Inside seating is sometimes full. Outside seating is minimal (two benches) and It's nearly always monopolized by a clique of middle aged dudes. All in all, a decent coffee shop.

I really like Peet's. Their coffee tastes great , they are pretty quick with your order. A great alternative to Starbucks!

It was great coffee and friendly staff the vibe and feel for me was a lil too hipster, for me I would have lived a home feel I can chill in. That's how ya get my coffee shop money.
