An expedition in GLUTTONY!. I attempted to sin here, but with their HUGE portions I failed miserably!... This place is big on portions (my plate of food was the size of a newborn) and based on my first excursion big on flavor too!
I came in here fairly late, but not necessarily with a huge appetite... little did I know you would need one to dine here. Why you ask. Just try it and you'll see why. Seriously...pictures do not do the size justice by any stretch of the imagination!
I saw a photo of these somewhat legendary Pastrami Chili Cheese Fries and thought "hmmmmm now those are elements I love so I'll just order that only!" Turns out you should either share or realize this is a freakin meal unto itself. I barely made a dent so to speak consuming just under half the portion I was given before lifting the proverbial white flag and tapping out!
Service is uber friendly and despite being about an hour before closing time you wouldn't know it by the staff's attitude for they were all warm, friendly, cordial, and welcoming. Heck even the cashier gal was polite enough to engage in friendly banter! Mad kudos to her.
Seating comes in the form of all booths in this very large venue.
Their palate is black, yellow, white, and natural colored woods. The decor is somewhat dated, but who cares.
There is copious amounts of parking for this place.
All of the food is made very fast & made to order. I really like the burgers, fried chicken plate & the steak plate. The plates are big enough to feed two people.
Burger is a burger right, I stand corrected. Visiting family in Long Beach felt like a burger for lunch. Place is clean easy parking all orders taken correctly, sure I was hungry but man that burger was good. Fries crispy and hot. Great spot for lunch.
Breakfast burritos are enormous and the salsa is the best!

Pete's Burgers is a staple place to enjoy great food. It's been years since I visited Pete's and when I returned recently, the food is still amazing. Great customer service, try the pastrami and fries.
the waitress ladies are gorgeous and have an excellent customer service and the weekends its always full of customers this is a great place to bring family out on the weekends and the children will definitely remember this place when they grow up the food is delicious from hamburger to breakfast pancakes burritos all the good stuff ..do i highly recommend this place
