Amazing food and very romantic decor. I was greeted by a friendly server that brought me spicy prik king beef with a tad of rice. The food was quite delicious and the red curry sauce had many different and distinctive notes of warm burst flavor. The crispy chicken in a red curry was also well received at the table. This restaurant is a little pricier but well worth the extra cash for sn authentic full flavored meal.
Had a great experience at Thai Gourmet by Sri Maya this past weekend! Poom (I may have butchered the spelling he was kind enough at the time of service to supply me) was extremely helpful with trying out some new entrees I had up until this point not encountered.
I ordered the Fried Wontons, which seemed to be filled with crab, celery, and cream cheese. I think the crab was imitation, but regardless it was very tasty with the sweet chili sauce.
Poom also helped me with deciding on the main entree, fried chicken in red curry. I’m not really a Thai fried chicken kinda guy, nor do I venture far from my pools of yellow curry, but guys wow this was such a tasty dish! I sat outside and even people walking by stopped to admire how delicious the dish looked and was plated. I even had some left over to microwave the next day—still tasty!
Also ordered a Thai iced tea (not pictured) that was pretty good.
All told, the total came out to about $30.77, which might seem pricey. I’d say you could easily split all the dishes with a date and still be full by the end. Just get an extra Thai iced tea and tip. Poom is the best!
1st time, very pleased, food was delicious. Got to go with time is not fast food....
Great service and delicious food. Good happy hour too. Check it out.
I love this place they're yellow curry is to die for one of the best that I've had in a long long time. also one of my favorite is their coconut soup with seafood to die for if you order it and you don't like it you must not have good taste palettes because that food is amazing.
We're definitely coming back here. Service was very good and the food was even better. We had one of the house specials of the day which was a crispy chicken in red curry. We got it mild and it was still a bit spicy but wow was it great. We tried the beef pad tai which was the first time we had it in beef that were can remember and it was delicious too. Only thing that was so so was the green tea but I'm going to overlook that.
Place was calm and clean and very well kept, not the often eclectic design of Thai restaurants. And we could easily have a conversation, not too noisy at all.
We are likely to become repeat offenders here.
The Pad See Ew with chicken was superb. Just a hint of spicy, but not overwhelming even for those with a mild palate. Also, the service was attentive, polite and assertive and sitting on the front patio was a pleasure. Will eat here again.
