Went for my first time last night! Loved it! The beef was so good - both the Kuyteav Kohr Goh was so yummy, the braised beef very flavorful Loved the Beef Lok Lak - also so tasty
Loved the cuisine and our waitress was the coolest! Overall fun first visit for all us Midsummer Scream exhibitors! We'll be back soon!
The best Cambodian food I've had since I moved to the States. The place looks a little bit small from the outside, but don't let it fool you. The food was just how I remembered when I had in Canbodia. It brought back so much memory of our Beloved country. Will come back again for Sure!
This was a nice place for dinner on a chilly Long Beach night. I came here with a friend after failing to find an open Pho spot in the neighborhood. We stumbled upon Monorom and decided on ordering 3 dishes in total: the house fried rice w/chicken, the beef stew noodle, and the shaken beef. My personal favorite was the shaken beef, i liked the sweet and savory flavor and tenderness of the meat. The house fried rice was also a nice dish paired along with the chili sauce which was a little on the spicier side but great flavor. My friend really enjoyed the beef stew rice noodle dish; I enjoyed the rice noodles but expected the dish to be spicier than it was sweet. Still, the stew was full of flavor without excessive saltiness. The proportions were fair for the price; I may be a bit biased because I am used to large servings. (Please note that the pictures included were taken after we had several bites of the dishes).
the food was fantastic, the menu clear and extensive, and the staff polite and attentive. almost entirely southeast Asian families and groups when we were there, which is a great sign. again, the food was spectacular (and cheap, and plentiful!) I had Khmer vegetable soup with pork rib, and a Cambodian Angkor beer to wash it down
Cambodian food is the asian version of soul food🔥🙌 You must try it and you’ll see what I mean. This place has big portion sizes for the amount you pay. God damn it’s so good 😭 I always get MEEKATANG and Beef Lok Lak. You won’t regret it
We have no idea what to order and the owner are so friendly came with some recommendation, skewers beef are tender and the salad Prahok Kties are distinctively flavorful.
I ordered through Postmates and the food was properly packed and portion sizes can feed 2-3 people. The food was delicious. It was just right!! Highly recommend if you wanna try Cambodian food.
The food was good and authentic Cambodian with a large selection and very tasty. The Phnom Penh noodle dish was delicious and the portions were quite generous. The atmosphere was pretty laid back and overall it was a very good dining experience.
First time trying Cambodian food. Some of the dishes are similar to Thai food. We tried the Crispy pork which was darn good and the accompanying vegetables were a perfect match with the crispy pork. The beef sticks were really good as well - the meat was so tender and tasty(not at all like the beef sate sticks at Thai Bbq) and no sauce is needed to eat them with. Chicken Pad see eew looked very similar to the Thai version but was not sweet. It was good(if you don't go into it thinking of the Thai version) Chinese broccoli and veggies were fresh and worked well in the dish. The last dish we ordered was the Mint Chicken - again similar to Thai in looks and ingredients but did not taste like Pad ka paow - nevertheless, it was good as well and placed on a bed of lettuce which actually paired very well with the Chicken. We picked up the food this time but will definitely eat there next time - it is a nice little restaurant in a strip mall. Workers/Staff were attentive and friendly. Can't wait to try more dishes !!
Great service. Haven't tried everything on the menu, but most items we've tried are pretty good, especially the grilled pork w/ savoring garlic sauce. It's yummy! Why not 5-stars for the place? Because it's a bit pricey.
