Sapporo Sushi

So I brought my family here on mother's day. What a great experience. The food was top notch but the service was absolutely perfect. John was our server and he was so intent to make sure everything went correct for my wife's big day. I am a huge stickler for excellent customer service so of coarse the tip and gratitude was great. I always research my restaurants before I chose to visit since we don't go out that much. I strongly advise everyone to try this sushi spot in long beach and try your best to get John as your server. Thanks John!!!!

Wait staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They were patient and attentive. It was nice not feeling rushed to order. The sushi was fresh and excellent. The tempura abundant and varied. We were very happy with our experience there. They even helped with chopstick aides for the kids. The kids loved it.

We have been looking for a good sushi restaurant and we finally found it! 😀 We ordered the Sashimi B which came with three pieces of seven different varieties of sashimi so it’s 21 big pieces of sashimi and every piece tasted fresh. We also ordered Truffle Toro roll and that didn’t disappoint us. The rice was just enough to make us full and glad we didn’t order more. This review would have been a five star if not for the hot tea that cost $3.50 per person, a little steep for a cup of tea. We will come back for the good sashimi but will definitely avoid ordering tea! 😀

I would absolutely eat here at any time of the day but their lunch specials are simply unbeatable. The bento box with two items is only $20 and it comes with a small salad, and your choice of items (I have the salmon roll and the shrimp crunch roll pictured), plus rice and miso soup! It’s definitely shareable. Furthermore, the quality of the fish is amazing and the staff is always so kind. This is my new favorite sushi spot in Long Beach!
