Stumbled upon this bar/restaurant on a rain day. This placed had a great vibe with fun music and our server, Jesse was the sweetest. She made our boys feel extra special too. The food came out quickly. The sweet and sour wings were nice and plump. The cheesey spinach broccoli dip with thin corn tortilla chips was a great starter. The Philly cheese steak had yummy sweet potato shoe string fries. The French onion soup was on the saltier side. The kids Mac n cheese was a nice large portion with a side of fries for only $9.

Enjoyed a long lunch with tons of amazing food, excellent hospitality, and the best music ever! The nachos was probably the biggest bowl of nachos I've ever had, and it was fantastic! If I'm ever near the Long Beach area, would love to visit again!

Speakeasy catered our daughter's party at The Ocean Club in Atlantic Beach New York to celebrate her upcoming marriage. I cannot say enough for how they enhanced our entire experience helping to create a magical night for our daughter and fiancé and our whole extended family. Yes the food was delicious. Yes the drinks were excellent. Yes the service was efficient and professional. But what was so evident was the love and care that they put into making sure everything ran smoothly. They anticipated our every need. And they were so vested in making our party special. I am forever in their debt for caring so much about our important event.

Food exceptional but music is horrendous and relentless. Food is worth making a trip for, and the restaurant design is lovely, as is the lighting. With the right music, people would be arriving in limos from out of town. But this music is like average adult contemporary (think “smooth operator” with a boom-chk-boom-chk added in around the 4th measure on every song. It’s relentless, and if you’re conscious of music it’s like sitting next to an open garbage. It turns what could be a legendary restaurant into an average pub. Sorry for the chef, because he/she/they are brilliant. The management seems clueless, by contrast

The food was really delicious here. As you can see the presentation is a bit more upscale, but the prices aren't. There is a bar, table service, and outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the only downside was this massive brick decor hanging over the bar. It kind of takes away from any personal interaction with the person serving you. I highly recommend trying the short rib grilled cheese with sweet fries.

My wife and I were on LI visiting with friends. They have a condo not too far away and were talking about this place. The vibe is very wooden and cool. There are televisions everywhere so you can watch various games. A cool assortment of Mac and cheeses on the menu and awesome mixed drinks. I ordered a BBQ panini and it was amazing. Definitely love this spot and would come back.

We were visiting from Maryland for Our Daughter's graduation from the US Merchant Marine Academy. We rented a house just a few streets up from Speakeasy. We hit a few other places around while we were here and the food was ok. The food at Speakeasy was awesome! We had the pretzilla, a huge soft pretzel with cheese sauce and a mustard mayo sauce. Soo good. The firecracker shrimp was delish! We also had the chicken flautas. Wow! So good! My wife and I shared a burger. It was cooked perfectly, served with a toasted bun. Our kids and Grandma got chicken tortilla soup and Thai tuna lettuce wraps! The tuna was perfect! All in all, a great experience!
