Panda Express

Good tastey food well displayed. Lots of seating but parking is difficult to manage. The driveway is on a busy street and people drive very fast. It's easy to miss the entrance the first time. It's a chain so you know what to expect from the menu. The interior was clean and bright. The staff were young and not very helpful even though the place was nearly empty. They were busy talking to.each other and seemed to be rushing me through my decision making.

I got there a half hour before closing, and they only had chow mein and crab rangoons. When I asked where the rest of the food is they said they aren't making anymore because they wanted to leave at closing time. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. I'm fairly certain that you serve customers until closing, and THEN you do your closing procedures etc. I'm also pretty sure that the optics of saying that to a customer are very bad. Funny thing though, as I was backing out of the drive-thru another car pulled up to the speaker and began placing an order. Curious, I went behind them to see what they ordered. And wouldn't you know it, they had a few other items after all. Not many, but at least some chicken teriyaki. Something to work with. When I asked why I wasn't presented with the chicken option, I was told that the staff member didn't see it then. Weird because it was the immediate car behind me and as soon as I pulled out they pulled up. So in closing, screw this place. For all the reasons listed 👆🏾 there. No food way before closing. Telling me they weren't going to prepare any for paying customers. Lying about what little food they have, and being douchey about not presenting all the options in the first place.

Used the drive thru and was asked to pull in front to wait for my vegetables for one of three, two item plates. The first of four cars to pull up front. Waited 27 minutes. Tried calling inside to check status. Phone was continuously busy and I had kids in the car so I couldn't go inside. When I finally got my food (after 2 cars got theirs) the food was cold, two items were wrong, and there wasn't much food in the containers. We're still all hungry! I told the clerk who delivered the food to the car. She asked if I'd like more food added to the containers. Not after I've complained for fear of food tampering chances. I did notify corporate. They kept moving people who walked in through relatively quickly. Never again!
