Huhot Mongolian Grill

I went there yesterday. I've got a couple of questions which is why did they get rid of the waitresses and why now do they ask you to pay up front and give a tip up front before you dine? I'm ok with paying for the meal up front but to be asked for a tip before you receive service from a self serve restaurant that no longer has waiters or waitresses? Isn't the purpose of having tips to insure proper service? No waiter or waitress to seat you or to give you water. Now you just get it yourself so the question is who am I actually tipping? I did tip however because they said that it goes not only to the person who takes your money up front but it also more importantly goes to the people who are cooking the food. The cooks have a separate tip box however so I'd be more inclined to put money in the tip box for the cooks and wait to tip the cashier until after you eat. The food was good and the atmosphere was good but it was disturbing to me that this restaurant is moving away from employing people to serve the people. That's the part that makes the customer feel special and appreciated.

Best food in Logan and hands down the best HuHot location! They went out of their way to accommodate everyone in my party, especially with allergies. They clean the grill constantly and even have metal shields to fight against cross contamination from various food allergens. Can't give them enough praise!

If you like Mongolian style, creating your own combinations and watching your dish being cooked this is the place for you. It’s buffet style and you can go up as many times as you like. Very clean and fun atmosphere. Service was amazing and kept the drinks topped off. Highly recommend. They also accommodate people with food allergies which is a plus.

HuHot was amazing!! Our waiter (Gabe) was so on top of making sure we had everything we needed. I am allergic to peanuts and gluten and they cleaned the grill so thoroughly and used different spatulas. I felt confident that I wouldn’t get sick. They also give you little yellow bowls to ensure your food stays separate and free from allergy causing items. The staff was welcoming, patient, and so so kind. I will definitely come back! Honestly the best service I have had!
