I have had lunch and dinner at Shamus multiple times. If the weather is cooperating, the patio is great. Great choice of menu items for both lunch and dinner and for the quality of the food, the menu is very modestly priced. Staff is always very nice and personable! Lastly, they are open every now and again for brunch and that has been delicious too! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!
Biggest plate of fried chicken ever! Stacy behind the bar is awesome and hats off to Ann for bringing in a big name musician this week for a night of music that was truly amazing!
Food is always wonderful. Service can be slow at times but waitresses are all good.

Lockport Staple. Cute Irish themed restaurant located in the city of Lockport. The old fashioned bar is located in the back of the restaurant and you could smell the home made hot cider being made when we walked in. Came for lunch and the place was crowded. Known for the lobster bisque and scallop appetizers. Diners thought the bisque was great and my french onion soup was very good as well. Lunch size portions were very big. Chef salad was more like a julienne with all of the meats and vegetables and filling. Diners got the fish fry and couldn't stop saying how good it was especially the coleslaw. Other person got the salad with peppercorn crusted steak and liked it as well. Upstairs dining room which could hold small banquets and parties. Will be coming back to try the dinner menu.
Great food. My favorite restaurant--delicious food, reasonably priced, cozy atmosphere, friendly service. Great for lunch or dinner. There's something for everyone on the menu-steak, chicken, pork, pasta, lots of fresh seafood. They always have great specials featuring fresh/seasonal ingredients. I try to stop in for at least one meal here every time I'm in the area.

The food was delicious and plentiful. Our waitress and hostess checked on us frequently. We were offered indoor and outdoor seating. Having chosen the indoor we found it to be quiet even though the restaurant was full. We chose the Saturday night special of prime rib. Cooked perfectly, the seasoning was perfect as well as the crust on top. We both had the french onion soup and agreed it was also delicious having had many bad versions of this in the past we savored it, even scraping the crusty cheese off the rim. They gave me a double serving of vegetables since I was not interested in a baked potato. My husband and I had been staying in Niagara Falls and found this gem because all the restaurants of this caliber were totally booked. We had visited Lockport to do the Erie Canal tour and since it was only a 20 mile ride checked out Trip Advisor to see what restaurant might be offering the menu we were looking for since we were celebrating our 50th anniversary. We plan a return trip to Niagara Falls and I anticipate a return visit to Shamus.
Excellent food and restaurant!! One of the best fish fry dinners I have had in awhile. My son got the chicken finger dinner. Both were excellent. The staff is wonderful and friendly. Very nice atmosphere!
Hostess greeted us and was quick to seat us within a minute of being in the door. Options for indoor or outdoor seating was available. All the staff we encountered were exceptionally kind and gave you A+ service. The waitress was on point with a wine selection.
As for the food, even if you are low carbing it as I am....try that foccacia bread (it's fantastic). The twin tenderloin and prime rib were cooked to perfection. The seasonal fresh veggies were seasoned perfectly.
My husband and I went here for dinner this week because we had a gift certificate from his work. We loved it! We love the atmosphere! We loved the amazing service! The food was phenomenal and home cooked. This is our new favorite restaurant.
We had almost forgotten how awesome Shamus is..but my husband booked us for Valentine’s Day and it was wonderful❣️ Food was delicious, service was wonderful (thanks, Chelsea), and unlike amy other restaurant we talked to-they were gracious and not stressed or rude or impatient. Just lovely. We will be back!!!
We had a catered dinner upstairs for my grandmother's funeral. It was a creat, cozy space and the food was so delicious! They were very accommodating for us and so sweet.
Great food , great atmosphere, great staff. Have been there several times before, and have never been disappointed. Will be back again.
