This place is a great stop if you’re coming from West Texas! You order at the pit then take your food inside to order sides, beer, and weigh your meats. Kinda of pricey the sides are meh. The free beans at the pickle/onion bar are AMAZING 😉

The best bbq I’ve ever had! My boyfriend and I stopped for lunch on our way home from a long weekend. We wished we had bought more for even more leftovers! The pork ribs, brisket and jalapeño sausage were great, all dipped in the sauce! Throw in the most flavorful baked potato we’ve ever had and it was just amazing! A must stop for us when visiting the hill country!

Super delicious! We tried a little bit of all the meats. They were fantastic. Beans and mac-n-cheese were good too. Pecan cobbler was dry however.

Solid BBQ. I liked the brisket, sausage, and sirloin. All the sides were pretty good as well. Nothing stood out as spectacular, but it was all good.

I was expecting a great experience when I walked up to the pit to order. But a $123 dollars later I was unhappy to find out the pork ribs were tough to eat. And the brisket was dried out. I can only assume because it’s served off the pit (drying out) vs resting in tinfoil. The chicken was ok. I got sausage to go, so can’t speak for that yet. We will probably mix the leftovers with eggs for breakfast. I had this BBQ at Blood Brothers and the had mixed their brisket with fried rice and it was amazing. So I may try that.

Coopers in Llano has always been my favorite barbecue place and have never been disappointed until the last time I went. The beef ribs and brisket had been in the pit too long and not properly seasoned as they always have been in the past. The barbecue sauce was not as tasty as it usually is.

This place lives up to the hype! BBQ is Texas has gotten out of hand where a lot of places that people talk about aren’t worth it - but this place is! Burnt ends were great (super salty) and the Mac and cheese was awesome with black pepper - but the most surprising thing was how good the green beans were!! Yes and more please!

Excellent BBQ!! Stopped here on the way south and I was pretty skeptical about this place, thought it was going to be all hype. But, they sure got it figured out here. The burnt ends were so good. I will be back to this place and if you pass through Llano and not hard turn in here, you just don't like good food!
