Very good place to take a group of people who all want to have different types of food. At first, from the outside, it look like a Perkins but it is much better and I have tried numerous dishes and all have been good. The staff is very friendly and want to make sure you have a good experience.
Good food, good service, good prices! Wait staff was accommodating! Only complaint was the mashed potatoes were very blah didn't have much flavor. Otherwise everything else was good !
Everything was fine; food, service, atmosphere; but I would only rate it average. Our food was on the way to being cold when it was served. Tasted fine, but shouldn't it be hot? I don't think the cooks and the waitresses are synchronized very well. We'll probably come back, but not right away.
I always get the soup and 1/2 sandwich combo, the harvester and creamy tomato soup....I freaking love it! Wish I didn't have to go clear across town for it though...
Decent Food , good service. We have been here several times and they always seem to be improving. Our grandkids like the pancakes. The Skillets Dinners are not bad. Overall it is good because it's a local family doing a good job.
The next time they are in Kansas City they need to stop at a Waffle House and check out the Grits. Thats whats missing is the Grits if done right.
