The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous, and the views from the restaurant are great. The food is delicious, but the plates are extremely small. The drinks are unmatched, but they can definitely get pricey so purchase a bottle instead! The service was great, and I will definitely be back very soon!

The view is pretty nice. It wasn't super crowded when we went so there was plenty of seating. The drink prices were about average. One of the very few places left in Lexington with a dancefloor. I was a little disappointed when the DJ couldn't play the song we requested (no trap music allowed) but he was cool about it and suggested another song instead.

I really enjoy this place. You enter I'm the ground level and will show ID and if the place is pretty packed, you'll be asked to fork over an entry fee. The 2 bars are pretty great with one in a small room and one next to the dance floor. The views are pretty good for me as I've never seen them in Lexington and it's nice to remember that we are a decently sized city. The seating is comfortable and quite generous with how much room there is to sit. When the place is packed and the dance floor is bumping, you can probably count on there being seats available. Finally, I'm not sure they do this for a long time, but the dance floor will available until 3, but the bar will be unavailable around 0230. So try not to leave to early or you will end up locked out.

So, here is the story. Walk up to the bar, get checked in, everything’s good! We take the elevator up and not even ten minutes later someone who knows a friend of mine starts a fight with him. But I’m the end WE get kicked out for correlation between friends. I have always disliked this bar but this has pushed it over the edge. They play favorites and then lie for reasons to kick people out. None the less! We had a great night at all the other bars AROUND sky bar so If you’re looking for a good time go to wildcat, stagger inn, parley, anywhere but here!

I have had some good times at SkyBar and the music is always great. However, beers are the most expensive downtown at $4.25 for domestics and they charge a $10 cover for guys, which I'm pretty sure goes in the pocket of the shady looking suited doorman downstairs. It's definitely not worth $10, so if you go, be sure to get there before 11 to avoid the cover and do lots of pregaming or you'll go broke trying to get a buzz.

It was close when my party arrived, but the doorman was cool. He came to explain what was going on and in my book that was cool as hell....
