Called ahead and still had to wait quite a bit. Food was kinda hit or Miss. I’m sure they do sushi better then regular food according to other reviews. We did not get sushi. Some of it was over done and I definitely do not recommend the baby egg rolls had no idea which was which kind and they were pretty nasty. I prefer canton wok instead

I went for the first time, ordering over the phone. I explained dietary restrictions - no raw fish. The person on the phone seemed helpful until I picked up my order. Rolls with raw fish flanked my non raw roll in a shared container. I called and explained that this was not ok. I was told I didn't say to keep them separate by the same person who took my order. I ended up calling back and was passed to the chef because they know more about my needs. Well the chef was perfectly fine redoing the order and removing raw ingredients. I was pleased to not have wasted $40. I hope the cashier/takes orders can ask for help if they are unsure of what they are advising customers of. Quality was superb and I would order again once my dietary restriction is lifted to not risk it.

This is a good place to get sushi. I don't eat it very often, but I've been to one other place in the area, as well as a spot in Brunswick. Compared to those places, Bua has decent prices and the sushi came out great. I usually get the safe options, like a California or Philadelphia roll but on my 2nd visit here, I branched out. I ended up getting a combination plate which had Nigiri, Sashimi, shrimp and vegetable tempura, and a California roll. I discovered I am not a fan of sashimi (fresh fish) but the presentation of the plate was amazing (see photos). I also had the spring rolls which were crispy and tasty. I would certainly come back again to try other items on the menu :)

Customer service horrible. I enter the restaurant to pickup my order. The owner and an employee were having tea laughing and chatting for several minutes. he made eye contact with me (owner) turnt away laughing some more with employee. This happening while I was directly in front of them, by the cash register while my order was hanging out on the table. Note( it wasn't busy one other customer was waiting on their food). Then employee decided to act all shock and proceeded cash me out.

Never know when they will be closed or open. Some weeks, they are open every day except one. Other weeks, they are closed all week whenever we call or drive by. Sometimes, they seem to be open for just two or three hours one day of the week. I can never tell what their schedule is. Sushi is amazing. Curry and noodle dishes are delicious. Environmentally-responsible packaging (if asked-for) is a plus. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
