Breakfast specials a real gift. Portions large and tasty. Wait time @ breakfast short and can linger over your coffee without pressure. And let's not forget the senior discount. Need I say more.
Huge Amount of Food For A Reasonable Price!. Never had anything from this restaurant I didn't like. I live right by the Levittown location..also been to another location in NJ owned by the same people. The open faced turkey sandwich is very good..came with a salad, soup, 2 sides, and a dessert for around $12.00. 4.5 out of 5 stars :)
Good Diner. Great coffee! We love the variety of specials they offer throughout the day. This is where we discovered the cheesesteak omelette - it is delicious. The servers are usually friendly and fast. There is sometimes a wait at the busy times, but that is because it is a popular diner (not because they are slow). Most items are the menu are pretty yummy.
For years, this has been our go-to spot. The staff consistently radiate friendliness and offer unwavering assistance. While the atmosphere might feel a bit old-fashioned, the diner maintains its cleanliness. During our recent visit, we indulged in a pork roll omelet, chicken fettuccine Alfredo, a sausage-egg bagel sandwich, and a delicious quesadilla. Portions here are colossal, ensuring you never walk away hungry. And the flavors? Abundant and delightful! Whenever we're in town, this place is an absolute essential stop.
I came here with the wife for a late breakfast. I've been to the Golden Dawn Diner a few times before. What's great is breakfast is served all day every day. There are breakfast specials before 11am but we arrived just after 11 but we could have taken advantage of lunch specials but decided breakfast would hit the spot. I ordered the farmers' omelet and my wife ordered the French toast. She got a side of bacon and I got a side of scrapple. The service was fast and friendly. The food came out in about 5 minutes after ordering. I seasoned my omelet and homefries with salt and pepper plus a little tobacco sauce which was on the table. Everything tasted good. I was surprised to see the scrapple was 2 slices. The only complaint was the cook on the bacon. One slice was overcooked and a couple were undercooked for my wife's preference. But half of the slices were perfect. The cost wasn't bad either and we will keep the Golden Dawn in our rotation.
Both the food and the service was exceptional!!! Plus the prices were very reasonable for what you received!! .. a ton of food and it was prepared to perfection! Our Server went above and beyond to help us! I not only will be back but I highly recommend this Diner to others!!!!
Golden Dawn is the best local diner for levittown. While it may not have frills, the food is good and comes as expected. Prices are very fair too!
Word of advice: come hungry! Their 13 page menu has hundreds of different dishes & items to choose from, so if you’re craving it, they’ve likely got it! To start, I ordered the New England clam chowder and Greek salad… the clam chowder hit the absolute spot and the salad was HUGE. For the main course I got the very fried chicken croquette served over mashed potatoes and topped with gravy, which was comfort food at its finest, as well as a side of crispy sweet potato fries. For dessert I got the bread pudding to finish it all off on a sweet note. It is an incredible value and overall just a really great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very warming and energetic. We all went home full & happy. I will definitely return to the Golden Dawn, especially so I can try their breakfast next! (And their rest of their cakes!)
I just had lunch at the Golden Dawn. I frequent the diner roughly 3-4's a week. However, today I had an extraordinary visit. The atmosphere was a bit more friendly. The food was a bit more satisfying. My server, as always, was warm and welcoming. I've not had a visit where I've been disappointed with anything. The girls work hard. Always making sure their attentive on refilling my drink. Taking away my dirty dishes. Asking if I want my desert and hot cup of coffee as always. The diner was just what I needed today. Thank you!

Stopped at Golden dawn for breakfast when we visited Sesame place in Philly. Their customer service is incredible! Loved the ambience and food. Everything was on point, oh and prices are very reasonable for the size of portions!
Food was great and plentiful! Good prices too! Server was super busy so that's the only reason for the 4 stars but she was good too! Very accommodating.

Everything my fiance and I ordered tasted horrible. We had to send food back. It came back out even worse.. The manager acted like she didn't believe us and still charged us half of the bill when we didn't even eat anything. We were looked at like we were bums or something. Never eat at this diner again.. Eggs were runny when I asked for them to be cooked a little longer. Her fish had way to much lemon. My cream chipped beef tasted like sour cream.
We ended up going back to kill some time and this go around was WAYYY better. We only ordered a cream chip beef breakfast special with some extra eggs but it was delicious. So I upped our rating to 4 stars.
