Newportville Inn

This is a welcome change from your average restaurant, serving a mix of bar food like burgers 🍔 and wings to complement their traditional German fare for which they're known, plus an interesting selection of game options that I'm not brave enough to try. If you want to try gator or elk, however, this is your place. My family loves the pierogies (Polish fare, I believe, but so good here, nonetheless) which come in plates of four, so get two orders for a family of four 😉. They have traditional potato and cheese and then some specials but we stick to the traditional. My son had the wings and loved them, and he's fairly critical of wings, so that's saying something. The atmosphere is dark and bar-like in a cozy kind of way that I like but may not appeal to everyone. The servers are friendly and the food came out quickly. There isn't a parking lot, so we parallel park on the small street behind the restaurant.

Celebrated Christmas last week with Nonnie and pop. The newportville inn was totally worth checking out, I can't believe I've never been there before! Nonnie and I split the kasespaetzle, and she had the schweinhaxe while pop and I got the rouladen. Also had my first snapper soup! Have to say, I'd totally get it again! Got to meet the chef, Russ, and talk to him about the food and of course compliment him on a job well done. We also had a super cool waiter whose name I swear is Wolf... even though he says it's Rick lol This place is an absolute gem in bucks county, I can't wait to go back and try some of the other menu items or just go sit at the bar and drink one of their many German beers that are on tap!!
