I was born in Lenoir City and have not lived there most of my adult life. After retiring here two years ago I noticed that "southern hospitality" is all but gone in this town's establishments, except for this store. All Cracker Barrels are about the same but these guys will make a country boy feel welcome. My grand daughter's favorite place to dine!
I've eaten in literally dozens of Cracker Barrels because I like the wide variety of choices on the menu and the food is always pretty good. I'm a creature of habit so I generally order one of three or four things that I really enjoy. This time out was the Chicken and Dumplings. Great choice. Possible the best I've ever eaten in a Cracker Barrel. The dumplings were perfect, not chalky, the sauce was just the right consistency. But the chicken?? Perfect. Tender, juicy, and a really healthy portion. Sometimes I get like one strip of chicken to go with the dumplings, but not this time. I actually ran out of dumplings before running out of chicken. Outstanding job Cracker Barrel. Well done!
Food was good and well presented. Everything was tasty, however the Cole slaw was somewhat watery. Service was excellent as were the surroundings. Parts of the parking lot are not well lit but you can still see to move around safely. Store is clean and all the staff were friendly. Being close to Christmas there were holiday wishes from most of the staff. They lost our order ticket in the kitchen so our wait for the food was lengthy. The server told us about the situation and we understood. Things like that happen and they were very busy. When they brought our food the server told us the manager had offered to pay for our meal. We were flabbergasted. Later the manager came to our table and apologized for the error and we thanked her. A decent experience in whole. I would still suggest that you at least visit once, I think you will like the food and the ambiance.
We prefer to stay overnight at Cracker Barrel when traveling in our campervan. This particular store is very quiet and not right next to the expressway, which is a plus for us!! Will star this location and stay again!!

I didn't have anybody to go with today so I ordered when I was at church what I wanted to take home to eat I told him I'd be there pick up they said just call the number and some will come out have you pay that's all I had to do was so quick and delicious and they were so kind I love Cracker Barrel all the time.
They have social distancing in place in the dining room. We are lunch and were seated immediately. Our server was nice and efficient. Our food was fast, hot and delishous.
